On the final episode of WrestleRant Radio (and on one of his favorite days of the year, no less), Graham "GSM" Matthews slams shut 2013 with the most electrifying edition to date! GSM kicks things off by revealing the results of the WWE/TNA Year in Review Awards poll, which featured categories such as Wrestler of the Year, Match of the Show, Shocker of the Year, Biggest Disappointment of the Year, Show of the Year, Women's Wrestler of the Year, and much more!
After that, it's time to review the WWE TLC pay-per-view! GSM gives his thoughts on CM Punk overcoming The Shield in a Handicap match and when we should expect to see The Shield split up, AJ Lee's apparent heat with Michelle Beadle and how it played into her Divas title defense against Natalya, the Rhodes brothers stealing the show yet again, the meaningless match between The Miz and Kofi Kingston, The Wyatt Family scoring a big win over Daniel Bryan, and Randy Orton becoming the inaugural WWE World Heavyweight Championship by defeating John Cena in a TLC match. Finally, GSM reviews Raw one last time in 2013 by discussing the tag team division in WWE and how it is flourishing at the moment, Dolph Ziggler getting his win back over Fandango, the new alliance of Big E Langston and Mark Henry and whether it will lead to a feud between the two down the line, a random appearance by Shawn Michaels and his confrontation with CM Punk, Tamina Snuka knocking Nikki Bella's teeth right down her throat (literally) with a beautiful superkick, Daniel Bryan's awesome match with Randy Orton, and potential plans for a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match at the Royal Rumble. Happy holidays, and be sure to listen to the return of WrestleRant Radio on January 28 at 9/8c!

Then, it's Slammy Award time! Following his brief thoughts on the Survivor Series pay-per-view, GSM talks TNA with his thoughts on the golden Aces and Eights funeral from the Thanksgiving edition of Impact Wrestling and his prediction for who he will think will advance to the finals of the TNA title tournament.
In his review of the December 2 edition of Raw, GSM discusses CM Punk moving into a feud with The Authority, the feud between Xavier Woods and Brodus Clay and why a heel turn for Clay is long overdue, the repackaging of the Sin Cara character and where Alberto Del Rio goes from here, The Shield taking on Big Show, Cody Rhodes and Goldust in tag team action, the contract signing for the title unification match at WWE TLC and the pros and cons of having one world champion. |
