What's the Royal Rumble Game?

For the 14th consecutive year, the Royal Rumble Game is back, and it remains one of my favorite things to do all year. Thanks to all who have ever participated and will continue to participate!

The rules are as follows: You pick a number 1-30 for both the men's and women's pools. They can be different numbers and you can only choose to enter one pool if you'd like (especially if the other Rumble pool is full). Each entry is limited to one person, and it's first come, first serve. The designated sign-up date and time are below. If whoever enters at your number in the Royal Rumble Game wins the whole thing, you win the game!

There will two Rumble pools: one for the men's Rumble, and one for the women's Rumble. You are allowed to enter both, so there could be as few as 30 unique entrants between the two pools. You are still limited to only one spot per Rumble, but when you choose two numbers between 1-30, please specify which is for the men's or and which is for women's. No two people can choose the same spot in one Rumble pool. Therefore, there will be two winners (unless the same person wins both, which is possible)!

What Can I Win?

As always, we will have a prize hanging in the balance! Not only will you have the honor of winning the Rumble Game if your entry comes out on top in either of the annual Battle Royals on January 31st, you will also win a free WrestleRant t-shirt from our Pro Wrestling Tees store! If you win, I will contact you in the subsequent days with information as to how it will be sent over to you.

Also, if you win the 2026 Royal Rumble Game, you automatically earn entry into next year's game and get to choose your number before anyone else! Due to winning the 2025 Royal Rumble Game, Average Grunt and Craig have already entered this year's installment and has chosen their numbers in the men's and women's Rumbles.

When Can I Sign Up For a Spot?

Now comes the most important question: how and when will you be able to choose your number in the 2025 Royal Rumble Game? Starting at the designated time below (and you'll find out exactly when in a second), you can leave a comment on this post with the numbers you want for each Rumble (please specify which number is for which Rumble) and either a Twitter/X handle or an email address I can contact you at if you win. You can also tweet me @WrestleRant with what number(s) you want at the designated time as well.

When the full roster between the two Rumbles is set, your name will be attached to the number down below and your name will be linked to whatever social media handle you used in your comment (if you used an email address, it won't be but that's fine). As noted, spots are limited. Only one person can be assigned to a number per Rumble (and as previously noted, you are eligible to enter both Rumbles as long as nobody has taken the numbers you want). I will respond to your comment with approval that the numbers are yours. First come, first serve!

The drawing of the numbers will be going down on Tuesday, January 27th at 8 p.m. ET! Thanks and hope to see you participate in the game!

You’re the man, Graham. Our trio looks forward to your rumble game ever year

Love to hear it!! Slight change: For the women's, I mistakenly put down Craig (one of last year's winners) as #29 when he should have been #28, so I gave you #29 instead. Is that all right? (And if #28 wins I'll get you a prize anyway haha)
