AEW Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada Confronted AEW Intercontinental Champion Kenny OmegaThis took place immediately following Omega's successful defense of the AEW International Championship that closed the Dynamite portion of Fyter Fest. I thought they might just face off and have that be it, but the bit of physicality we got was cool. Okada vs. Omega was expected for All In as far back as Worlds End in December, so I'm happy it's finally official (as of later in the episode) and that both belts will be on the line. Will Ospreay def. Lio Rush; Ospreay Saved "Hangman" Adam Page from The Death RidersThis was the perfect way to kick off the show from an in-ring standpoint. Sure, the outcome was never in doubt, but Rush is great and Ospreay works well with just about everyone. This was an enjoyable outing in the time they were allotted, and the post-match angle with Page making the save for Ospreay was well done as it furthered the story of Ospreay and Page having to join forces against Death Riders. FTR def. Templario and Atlantis Jr.I thought there'd be some sort of shenanigans to set up a rematch in Arena Mexico in two weeks, but apparently not. Granted, FTR did cheat to win, but they didn't make a big fuss over it. Regardless, this was a good match. FTR is obviously a top team and I thought they had fun chemistry with Templario and Atlantis. I thought we were headed toward FTR vs. Adam Copeland and Christian Cage at All In, but we are no closer to that happening. The Don Callis Family (IWGP NEVER Openweight Champion Konosuke Takeshita and Kyle Fletcher) and Hechicero def. Los Outrunners and ROH World Champion BandidoIt wouldn't be an episode of Collision without a six-man tag team match with The Don Callis Family! Seriously, what is the point of these matches? They aren't bad by any means, but I can only see Outrunners and Bandido endure so many losses before it becomes difficult to take them seriously. On a side note, Hechicero becoming an ally of The Don Callis Family is interesting. Hey, whatever gets him more television time in AEW, I'm down for. Tay Melo Saved Anna Jay from Megan Bayne and Penelope FordThis was such a blink-and-you-missed-it angle that I wouldn't be shocked if some fans completely missed it. Harley Cameron is sidelined for the time being (I believe with a kayfabe injury though it's possible it was real), so Melo returning to reunite with Jay against Bayne and Ford makes sense. Melo has been off AEW TV for over two years, so I'm glad she's back. ROH World Television Champion Nick Wayne def. AR Fox, Lee Johnson and ROH World Tag Team Champion Sammy Geuvara in a Four-Way MatchThis was another one of those instances where Christian wanted to test Wayne by having him defend his ROH World Television Championship, this time in a four-way. It's hilarious that the title is getting defended more on AEW TV as of late than ROH TV, and no, that doesn't automatically make it more prestigious. This was a well-worked four-way, but this crowd was exhausted by this point in the night, so the placement wasn't the best. Thekla def. Lady FrostIt's a shame Thekla had to make her AEW in-ring debut so late in the show. I don't know how much hotter the crowd would have been since this was short anyway, but at least this was booked like a straightforward showcase for Thekla. Queen Aminata emerged afterward to chase after Thekla, so those two will collide at Summer Blockbuster next week. Paragon (AEW TNT Champion Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly and Roderick Strong) and Daniel Garcia def. The Don Callis Family (Roppongi Vice, Lance Archer and Josh Alexander)One multi-man match with The Don Callis Family was more than enough for this show, and that's coming from someone who is a fan of the faction. This was a solid main event, but it didn't necessitate an overrun for this show. Cole picking up the win was logical so he has momentum for when he eventually defends the AEW TNT Championship against Fletcher in a rematch from last week. Overall ShowGod bless you if you decided to watch all four hours of Fyter Fest from start to finish as it aired. I hate that AEW is going with four-hour blocks of wrestling this week and next week, but if the die-hards have no issue with it, then they'll keep doing it when they have to. This was a serviceable show and the added element of it being live helped, but it wasn't anything out of the ordinary on the whole and there wasn't much of an incentive to tune in until the very end.
