Daniel Garcia def. Blake ChristianGarcia has been losing a lot lately and the story is that he's frustrated. Sure, he won here, but who in AEW hasn't beaten Blake Christian? This was a fine extended squash for him to set up his post-match promo, where it was established it will be him against Jon Moxley in a rematch from Dynamite on next week's Collision. I hope the endgame isn't him joining The Death Riders because that would be awful. Let's start the process of getting rid of Death Riders, not adding to them. The Don Callis Family (Josh Alexander and AEW TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher) def. The Conglomeration (NJPW Strong Openweight Champion Tomohiro Ishii and Kyle O'Reilly)I'm amazed The Conglomeration is still a thing because the group sucked to begin with, but it's worth noting Roderick Strong wasn't happy with O'Reilly choosing Ishii at his partner in this match over him. This was good, hard-hitting stuff and Alexander going over was the right call. Perhaps he'll be the one Don Callis selects to contend for Adam Page's AEW World Championship, though that feels more like a television match than a pay-per-view main event with how Alexander has been positioned in AEW. Hologram def. Jay LethalWe barely see on AEW TV these days as he's usually relegated to Ring of Honor programming, but he he still be counted on for a quality contest and this was no exception. He and Hologram worked well together and it was nice to see Hologram pick up his first singles win in AEW in many months. However, it looks like he's going to be feuding with a "clone" of himself (think Sin Cara Azul vs. Sin Cara Negro from WWE in 2011) instead of challenging for a championship. Whatever. Alex Windsor def. Ashley VoxVox was just in action against Billie Starkz on Friday's Death Before Dishonor Zero Hour pre-show. I've also been familiar with her work through the NWA and MLW over the years. Windsor made short work of her, though, which was for the best considering she'll be facing Mercedes Mone for the AEW TBS Championship on Wednesday's Dynamite. I liked Windsor's post-match promo and I'm glad she finally got mic time in the ring. FTR def. Adam Priest and JD DrakeIf Drake and Priest felt like a random team, it's because The Workhorsemen recently joined forces with Priest on ROH TV. They haven't had much success so far, but they were an easy team for FTR to beat here. I would've rather see FTR win quicker than they did, but at least it was a well-wrestled match in the time it was allotted. As we found out on Dynamite this week, FTR will take on Adam Copeland and Christian Cage at All Out and they cut an intense promo on them afterward here that got them great heat. Big Bill def. Juice RobinsonWhile I appreciate that Big Bill and Bryan Keith's feud with Bang Bang Gang has kept both teams busy, the booking has been basic and it's difficult to care as a result. Bill should be involved in something more significant on his own by this point, not wasting his time in a tag team rivalry that isn't interesting. This was a decent match, but these guys exchanging wins isn't accomplishing anything. Interim ROH Women's World Television Champion Mina Shirakawa, Queen Aminata and AEW Women's World Champion "Timeless" Toni Storm def. Billie Starkz and Triangle of Madness (Julia Hart and Skye Blue)I have no idea why this was billed as one of Tony Khan's billon "All-Star" matches because it was, in fact, not an "All-Star" match (no disrespect to the women involved). Despite that, it was a solid six-woman tag team main event. The babyfaces went over, but the heels stood tall afterward, specifically with Triangle of Madness (including Thekla) laying out Storm. Does that mean one of them is next in line for a shot at Storm's AEW Women's World Championship? Overall ShowDynamite was a middle-of-the-road show on Wednesday night and Collision, also emanating from the ECW Arena, was similar in that respect. There was hype for the next episodes of Dynamite and Collision yet nothing that stood out as special or worth checking out. I will say that the mic work from Garcia, Windsor and FTR was strong, so there was that. If you caught the show live, you didn't waste your time, but if not, you didn't miss much, either.
