AEW World Champion Jon Moxley def. AR Fox (Non-Title)I couldn't tell you the last time Fox won anything of note on AEW TV, not to mention Moxley is the AEW World Champion. In other words, there was no uncertainty surrounding the outcome here, but it was a nice outing while it lasted and there was no reason for it to be more competitive than it was. Moxley addressed Adam Page in a post-match promo, but it wasn't anything we haven't heard from him before. FTR and The Don Callis Family (Konosuke Takeshita and Kyle Fletcher) def. Paragon (Roderick Strong and AEW TNT Champion Adam Cole), Daniel Garcia and ROH World Champion BandidoThe multi-man tag team matches on AEW TV (specifically Collision) have gotten out of control as of late, similar to how WWE has been overdoing the Triple Threats and Fatal 4-Ways recently. However, at least WWE's multi-person matches usually have meaning. This meant nothing since it was essentially the same match we've seen for weeks. It would've been one thing if Cole got pinned to set up a future AEW TNT Championship match, but that wasn't the case. This was well wrestled yet inconsequential. Swerve Strickland def. Shane TaylorI remember when these two interacted while Strickland was still teaming with Keith Lee. That feels like forever ago. I've long been advocate for AEW doing more with Taylor, but I'm well aware that's not going to happen at this point. I'm just happy he had the chance to show what he could do here, despite the outcome never being in doubt. This allowed Strickland to rebound after being pinned on Dynamite. AEW Women's World Champion "Timeless" Toni Storm Addressed AEW TBS/RevPro Undisputed British Women's/EWA Women's/CMLL World Women's Champion Mercedes MoneStorm's promos never cease to entertain. I'm not always a fan of the raunchy material, but it gets a big pop every time. She knows and plays her character so exceptionally well and it's primarily carried her feud with Mone heading into All In. This was strong and exactly what it needed to be. I'm honestly pulling for her to retain, but I know that's not all that realistic. Mark Briscoe, Hologram and Willow Nightingale def. MxM Collection and Taya ValkyrieI guess it was said at some point that Hologram is now a member of The Conglomeration, but the group has been virtually nonexistent for so long now that I'm not going to bother labeling them as such, especially when no one seems to care, anyway. Don't get me wrong, this was solid stuff, but it felt like a waste of time. You'd think Hologram would be challenging for a championship by now considering he's been undefeated for almost a year in AEW. Mark Briscoe and Kota Ibushi Attacked The Don Callis FamilyIbushi was out injured for so long that I totally forgot about the possibility of him eventually returning. That was a great surprise and he looked excellent. Briscoe fended off Lance Archer while Ibushi took out Josh Alexander and Kazuchika Okada. You'd think this was building toward Ibushi vs. Okada. Although Kenny Omega vs. Okada is the match for All In, it makes sense for Ibushi to want to get revenge on Okada for Omega until Okada returns. Big Bill and Bryan Keith Attacked The Workhorsemen and Were Interrupted by The PatriarchyThis brawl at ringside was joined in progress. I believe it was on last week's Collision that The Workhorsemen returned (both have been out injured on and off over the last year or so). Perhaps we'll still get the match, but Bill and Keith getting the better of The Workhorsemen here indicated that a match isn't necessary. They and The Patriarchy both want in on the AEW World Tag Team Championship picture, but that isn't a matchup or a feud that does much for me, personally. JetSpeed def. The Gates of AgonyJetSpeed is a cool team name for Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight. They're clearly being built up for an opportunity at the AEW World Tag Team Championship, so this was a logical win for them in what was a good match. On a side note, Ricochet sat in on commentary and teased recruiting Gates of Agony into his group, but I don't see the point of them linking up with someone else after their alliance with Brian Cage never amounted to much. ROH Women's World Athena, Megan Bayne, Penelope Ford and Thekla def. Thunder Rosa, Anna Jay, Tay Melo and Queen AminataThe timing of this match was interesting with Athena saying in an interview the other day that she didn't think it was looking likely that she'd make the All In card. I already expected her to defend the AEW Women's World Championship against Rosa next, but with both of them taking part in this Collision main event, the question is whether that match will happen at All In or at Supercard of Honor the night before. Regardless, this was a well-worked main event that furthered a few feuds at once. Overall ShowIf you like tag team wrestling, this is the show for you because there was plenty of it. Unfortunately, most of the matches didn't mean much, making for a fairly forgettable show on the whole. Of course, Ibushi returning was newsworthy, so the two hours weren't a total waste. Only the diehards will find Collision most weeks worthwhile and that's fine. For everyone else, I'd suggest spending the two hours checking out the Grand Slam: Mexico edition of Dynamite from Wednesday instead.
