The Death Riders (Pac, Claudio Castagnoli and AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley) and The Dogs (David Finlay and Clark Connors) def. Top Flight and The Rascalz (Dezmond Xavier, Zachary Wentz and Myron Reed)This was a loaded 10-man tag team match, which felt like it was solely designed to keep everyone busy and get them all on the show. Don't get me wrong, the action was enjoyable (and there was a ton of it), but it did feel slightly random. If nothing else, it served as a welcome reminder of just how stacked AEW's tag team division is at the moment, and none of these tandems are currently in the AEW World Tag Team Championship picture. AEW National Champion Jack Perry def. Mascara DoradaDorada is also a dual champion in CMLL at the moment, but I didn't bother to list him as such because he didn't bother to come out with either belt here (even though it was included in his introduction). At any rate, he and Perry had a fun match despite the obvious outcome Being the AEW National Champion has been a good role for Perry while Luchasaurus has been out injured. AEW World Trios Champions The Conglomeration (Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong and Kyle O'Reilly) def. MxM TV (Johnny TV and MxM Collection) (Non-Title)MxM TV are largely relegated to ROH TV these days and that's probably where they belong. As one-off opponents for The Conglomeration in this non-title affair, however, I didn't mind seeing them in this spot. This was what you'd expect, but it was also what it needed to be. Here's hoping The Conglomeration do more with the AEW World Trios Championship than the last few trios have. AEW TBS Champion Willow Nightingale def. Anna JayI'm genuinely surprised Jay was brought back here considering there have been rumors for months of her AEW contract expiring and her possibly being WWE bound. Of course, that could still happen, but Tony Khan tends to keep people in her situation off television if he's convinced they're on their way out. Nonetheless, she had a solid showing here against Nightingale in what was a quality contest. Bang Bang Gang (Juice Robinson and Ace Austin) def. The Death Riders (Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia)You can throw this into the same category as the opener in that I'm not sure this was a match that needed to happen yet it established just how many teams AEW has these days. Bang Bang Gang feel lost without Jay White, but giving them a mini feud with Death Riders is fine. This gave Robinson a victory before he faces Jon Moxley in an AEW Continental Championship Eliminator match on Wednesday's Dynamite. Skye Blue def. Niki XSBlue is fresh off pinning Persephone in a tag team match, so it feels like she's being built up for an opportunity at the CMLL World Women's Championship that Persephone holds. I don't know why AEW viewers would give a shit about that, but I won't complain about Blue racking up some wins on her own for a change. This was a fairly straightforward showcase for her. AEW TNT Champion Kevin Knight def. HookWe already found out on Wednesday's Dynamite that Knight will be challenging Darby Allin for the AEW World Championship coming up on Dynamite this Wednesday, so there was no reason to think Knight was dropping the AEW TNT Championship here after he just beat MJF to retain it three days ago. Nonetheless, they had a nice, well-worked main event. Hook feels completely cold at the moment and being in The Opps clearly isn't doing him any favors at this point. Overall ShowEven with three title matches, this felt like an inconsequential edition of Dynamite with no meaningful storyline developments and only the usual entertaining wrestling. They did set up some stuff for Dynamite on Wednesday, but it's not as if there's anything really worth seeking out from this episode with most of the matchups having foregone conclusions. It was a decent way to kill two hours, though.
