RevPro Undisputed British Women's Champion and BBW Women's Champion Mina Shirakawa def. Harley Cameron (Non-Title)AEW has too many titles as it is, so I wish the wrestlers wouldn't wear the belts they win in independent promotions on AEW TV (also so I don't have to acknowledge said titles). At any rate, this was a standard showcase for Shirakawa, who will hopefully now be back in AEW on a regular basis. As for Cameron, she continues to get a ton of television time but never wins when it matters most. Daniel Garcia def. Johnny TVJohnny TV is now aligned with MxM Collection. It's a logical pairing (and perhaps they'll enter the six-man tag team ranks in either AEW or Ring of Honor), but they can't expect to be taken seriously, especially in matches such as this one. It was a well-wrestled affair, but the outcome was never in doubt. Garcia and Matt Menard nearly killing Jack Perry with his own bus afterward was far more memorable. Shelton Benjamin def. KomanderBenjamin has been absolutely killing it since arriving in AEW. The dude hasn't lost a single step in the ring. I just wish WWE had allowed him to go all out during his second stint there. This was similar to Komander's recent Collision match against Kyle Fletcher where it was obvious Benjamin was winning yet they had strong chemistry together and had a blast out of a bout. The crowd was certainly into it. Powerhouse Hobbs def. BronsonAs I always say, the less of Iron Savages, the better. I still can't truly grasp as why they're on television as often as they are when AEW has a million wrestlers on its roster that could be in that same spot. Regardless, this was the straightforward squash for Hobbs that it needed to be, though it wouldn't have hurt for it to be slightly shorter. Why haven't we heard from Hobbs on the mic yet since he returned to the ring? The Acclaimed def. La Faccion Ingobernable (The Beast Mortos and Rush) in a Full Gear 4-Way Contenders Series MatchLFI just reunited, debuted Jake Roberts as their manager and were on a winning streak it seemed. It made zero sense for them to lose here, especially to a team as cold as The Acclaimed. It's amazing how stale their shtick has become. There was nothing wrong with this from an in-ring standpoint as it was a good television match, but the outcome was the wrong one. They need a heel turn in the worst way. AEW Women's World Champion Mariah May def. Anna Jay in a No Disqualification MatchThis was billed as the rubber match of the feud, though I'm not sure what Jay did to earn another shot at the AEW Women's World Championship after being beaten decisively a few weeks ago. They saved the best for last as this was an excellent effort from both women. Never count out the women of AEW when it comes to Street Fights because they always rise to the occasion (some of their Street Fights tend to be more entertaining than the men's). Overall ShowA near-10-minute video package closed the episode hyping up all of the Full Gear feuds set to a song by Guns N' Roses. That was a terrific piece of business that I hope gets airtime on Dynamite next week, but I'm not expecting it. This was a slightly above-average edition of Collision thanks to the condensed format and enjoyable matches, two of which had stakes.
