Ricochet def. AR FoxThis brought back memories of Lucha Underground where Ricochet wrestled as Prince Puma and Fox wrestled as Dante Fox. Good times. They had the fun spot-fest you'd expect from them, even if the outcome was never in doubt. Post-match, Ricochet cut one of his better promos when he addressed Konosuke Takeshita, so it looks like he's not done with the AEW International Championship. Kris Statlander def. Harley CameronCameron is one of those wrestlers we tend to see on AEW TV a lot more than I think we need to. To her credit, she's shown noticeable improvement since debuting in the company a year or so ago, but I simply don't care about her as a character, especially considering she never wins when it matters most (similar to the same issue Fox suffers from). This was serviceable and only existed so Statlander could call out Kamille afterward. That match was later made official for the Fright Night edition of Dynamite on October 30th. Daniel Garcia and Private Party def. Premier Athletes (Josh Woods, Tony Nese and Ariya Daivari)Apparently Garcia and Private Party have bonded over being AEW originals, so there's that. They're obviously racking up wins so they can eventually face off with Jon Moxley's crew, but before then, they'll be taking on The Elite on Wednesday's Dynamite. Thus, this existed to give them a win before then. Premier Athletes are featured so frequently and always lose, so it's always impossible to give a shit about anything they're involved in. Orange Cassidy def. BronsonFollowing up a Premier Athletes match with an Iron Savages match was quite the questionable call. Thankfully, it was just Bronson of Iron Savages and it was a blink-and-you-missed it squash. Seriously, Cassidy beat him in under 30 seconds, so I appreciated that this was short and sweet. Get Cassidy away from The Conglomeration so he can feel like a threat again on his own if he's going to be feuding with Moxley again at some point. Jamie Hayter def. Brooke HavocI remember when Havoc wrestled one of her first-ever matches against Britt Baker on an episode of Dark years ago. She's clearly come a long way since then, but this was all about Havoc and giving her a straightforward win. Penelope Ford popped up on the big screen afterward and explained why she went after Hayter a few weeks ago. It was a fine promo, but she sounded completely lifeless like she was reading directly off of a script. Kyle Fletcher def. Atlantis Jr.This was a rematch from a CMLL event earlier this year where Atlantis beat Fletcher to win the ROH World Television Championship. Now that Atlantis is no longer champ, it was logical for Fletcher to get that win back, especially if he's headed for a match with Will Ospreay soon. I don't know that this needed to as long as it was, but I guess the idea was to simultaneously make Atlantis look credible in defeat, which I don't think was necessary if the spotlight was supposed to be solely on Fletcher. House of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King and Buddy Matthews) def. Alpha Zo, Chris Nastyy and OlumideKing just lost to Darby Allin at WrestleDream, but that's really the only thing the group has had going on for the last few months. What a waste. This was a dominant showing from them, but I question where it's headed. Perhaps they're setting their sights back on the AEW World Trios Championship, but I'd much rather see Black get a renewed singles push. Winning those belts back wouldn't accomplish much. La Faccion Ingobernable (Rush and The Beast Mortos) def. The OutrunnersAs I've said before, it's cool that The Outrunners have managed to get themselves over. Ideally, you'd have them continue winning and earn themselves an opportunity at the AEW World Tag Team Championship, but I assume they lost here because La Faccion Ingobernable is also in the process of being built up. Maybe not have them face each other? At least the match was solid. AEW World Trios Champions Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta and Pac def. Top Flight and Action AndrettiYuta cementing his heel turn at WrestleDream and officially aligning himself with Moxley and his teammates means that they can now defend those Trios titles without issue. There was zero chance of Top Flight and Andretti capturing the titles here, but this was an enjoyable main event, nonetheless. Here's hoping this is the end of their feud with the heel faction after being defeated decisively here. Overall ShowMan, most of this show was squash match city. Tons of enhancement matches and a majority of them served a purpose as far as building certain wrestlers up for future matches, but it didn't make for the most exciting two-hour program. Then again, that's standard fare for Collision these days. Only the main event was stood out with Moxley's crew wreaking havoc, but that was about it.
