AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley def. "Speedball" Mike Bailey in an AEW Continental Championship Eliminator MatchI'd say it's obvious that Moxley isn't losing any Eliminator matches before he challenges Will Ospreay for the AEW World Championship at All Out, but then again, he hasn't lost a singles match all year and that wasn't about to begin now. Despite the predictable result, this was a great opener from him and Bailey. Moxley has been busting his ass all year and meshed extremely well with Bailey's exciting offense. The Rascalz (Zachary Wentz, Dezmond Xavier and Myron Reed) def. Aaron Solo, Nick Comoroto and Griff GarrisonSolo, Comoroto and Garrison were out there with cowboy getup like they were a knock-off Adam Page and Brodido. Whatever to make them stand out, I guess. The Rascalz have lost whenever it's mattered most in AEW so far, but they do pick up the occasional win to maintain some shred of credibility. This was one of those instances, as it gave them a rebound victory following their failure to win the AEW World Trios Championship from Swerve Strickland and The New Level last week on Dynamite. Queen Aminata def. Mina ShirakawaMercedes Mone sat in on commentary. Aminata and Shirakawa have been teaming for the better part of the year, mostly in Ring of Honor. They've both been directionless for so long that it's difficult to take either of them seriously as threats to the AEW Women's World Championship (assuming that's where this is leading because of Mone on commentary), so they'll need a bit of rebuilding. That said, this was a quality contest from them. Jay White def. Adam PriestI really hope it isn't long before White is back to being involved in something significant in singles competition. He may have to finish his feud with The Dogs first, but beyond that, he should have his sights set on some gold. Of course, the outcome was never in doubt here, but Priest put up a good fight before losing in what was a well-worked match that went about as long it needed to. The Dogs (Clark Connors, Gabe Kidd and David Finlay) and Pac def. Bang Bang Gang (The Gunns, Juice Robinson and Ace Austin)Are we supposed to believe that this was an impromptu match after what White said in his promo? Or was this announced for the show ahead of time? Either way, it was a fun eight-man tag team affair with chaotic action. I'm ready for Bang Bang Gang to move on from working with The Dogs, as the factions exchanging wins hasn't done anything for anyone. The Conglomeration (Roderick Strong, Orange Cassidy and Kyle O'Reilly) def. The Lethal Twist (Jay Lethal and The Swirl)The New Level sat in on commentary, which reminded me that we hadn't formally heard from New Level on AEW TV until now. I know they're coming off two terrific title defenses on Dynamite, but they should have cut an in-ring promo prior to this point. Nonetheless, this was an enjoyable outing from these two trios. The Conglomeration already lost to New Level and Swerve Strickland on Dynamite, but perhaps this was designed to plant the seeds for a rematch. Daniel Garcia Won The Butcher Battle RoyaleAs most AEW Battle Royales do, this started on the outside before everyone ended up in the ring. This was standard stuff and didn't feature a ton of top talent, but it was more about honoring The Butcher than anything else. Garcia winning made sense because both he and The Butcher are Buffalo natives, and as a result of his victory, he'll be awarded with $100,000 to donate to a charity of his choosing. Overall ShowMuch like Wednesday's Rebel Heart edition of Dynamite, this was an excellent tribute show for Andy Williams a.k.a. The Butcher. There was a 10-bell salute to start the show, a ton of wrestlers spoke about him in quick videos throughout the night, the main event was held in his honor, and there was a very touching video package for him at the end. Needless to say, this was one of the best Collision shows ever, and even though the wrestling was irrelevant, what we got was good as always.
