AEW TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher def. Robbie EaglesI don't know why the AEW TNT Championship was on the line here, but it did make the match more meaningful despite the outcome never being in doubt. They had an enjoyable outing with Eagles looking good in defeat. He's impressive from what I've seen of his work and Fletcher is obviously a star on the rise. I'm surprised this wasn't positioned as the main event because this felt more important than that was because of the stakes. La Faccion Ingobernable (Rush, Dralistico and The Beast Mortos) def. Alpha Zo, Dom Kubrick and Lucas RileyI've always liked LFI as a group, but they can never get anything going, whether it's injuries or just inconsistent booking. They were dominant in this match and made quick work of their opponents as they should have, but I wasn't left thinking that they're next in line for a shot at the AEW World Trios Championship since Mortos already failed to earn them a title shot when he lost to Kevin Knight a few weeks ago. This was fine, but it felt like filler more than anything. The Brawling Birds def. Sisters of SinI'm surprised we got this match without much fanfare. It would have benefited from a bit more build and I thought there was a chance they'd feud to stretch out Brawling Birds' chase for the AEW Women's World Tag Team Championship. Then again, I thought we'd get more of a feud between Brawling Birds and The IInspiration, too, and we know what happened there. Nonetheless, this was a nice match for the time it was allotted. The Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli and Daniel Garcia) def. Komander and Mascara DoradaThis was another random match without much of a reason to exist other than to give Death Riders a victory. Don't get me wrong, it was enjoyable from an in-ring standpoint, but Komander and Dorada aren't feuding with Death Riders and they didn't have a high chance of winning, either. This surely would have been slotted in the middle of a two-hour episode, but for a one-hour episode, I can see why it was the main event. Overall ShowMuch like last year, Collision is being split into two shows this weekend because of the March Madness coverage going on at the moment, so this was only the first hour. As you could tell, it wasn't very consequential. That isn't to say it was bad by any means, but it didn't feature anything super significant and certainly wasn't worth staying up late for. If you caught up on it after the fact, however, it was a quick and harmless watch.
