Marina Shafir, Megan Bayne, AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Mone and Triangle of Madness (Thekla and Sisters of Sin) def. Mina Shirakawa, "Timeless" Toni Storm, The Babes of Wrath, Jamie Hayter and AEW Women's World Champion Kris Statlander in a Blood and Guts MatchFans have questioned for years if we'd ever get a women's Blood and Guts match, and considering all of these women (and others) have been intertwined for most of 2025, this was definitely the right time for it. In fact, I would have had them headline over the men, especially since I enjoyed this one slightly more. Everyone had their time to shine and they definitely delivered on the stipulation (even though we tend to see way too much of the plunder in AEW). I really liked the finish with Storm surrendering to prevent Shirakawa from taking more punishment from Bayne and Shafir as it plays directly into their upcoming outing in the AEW Women's World Tag Team Championship Tournament. AEW World Champion "Hangman" Adam Page def. AEW World Trios Champion Powerhouse Hobbs in a Falls Count Anywhere MatchThis was the perfect match to go in between the Blood and Guts matches and a strong stipulation to boot. This was a hell of a brawl and I loved that they went all over the arena. I was actually more into this than Blood and Guts. Post-match, Page established announced it will be him and Samoa Joe inside of a steel cage for their AEW World Championship rematch at Full Gear. AEW World Tag Team Champions Brodido Saved Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat from FTR and StokleyFTR have been doing this same sort of segment all year, and while it's fairly formulaic at this point, they continue to generate great heat. Steamboat especially played his role well and it was wonderful to see him out there before Brodido made the save. For what it's worth, Ric Flair was also advertised to appear, but reportedly, he had to leave the show early for medical reasons. I honestly don't think the segment needed him, anyway. The Conglomeration (Kyle O'Reilly, Roderick Strong, Orange Cassidy and Mark Briscoe) and Darby Allin def. The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Pac and Daniel Garcia) in a Blood and Guts MatchAs sick as I've been of Death Riders' feud with Allin and The Conglomeration, this was an appropriate pay-off. Everything played out logically and it ended up being fun for what it was, even though I likely won't remember most of the violence not long from now since all of AEW's Blood and Guts matches blend together. It got a bit boring in the middle, but they finished on a high note with O'Reilly tapping out Moxley, which was well done since O'Reilly has come close to beating Moxley a few times recently. We'll see if AEW capitalizes on that with him, and whether this latest loss for Moxley will lead to him getting kicked out of his own group. Overall ShowThis was a rare instance where I didn't mind that Dynamite went two-and-a-half hours because so much time was devoted to the two Blood and Guts matches, though both bouts did drag at certain points. I hope they don't do what WWE does as far as always doing one for the men and one for the women on the same every year. It's just not necessary. Otherwise, this was an above-average episode with three special attraction matches and some build for Full Gear sprinkled in.
