Ricochet and "Speedball" Mike Bailey def. Mark Davis and Orange Cassidy in the Four-Way Finals of the AEW International Championship Eliminator TournamentYes, you read that correctly. Ricochet and Bailey both technically won after pinning Davis simultaneously. I don't know why the referee wouldn't have just restarted the match, but we've seen this sort of thing before, so I can't say I'm surprised. I'm also not bothered by the outcome, either, especially considering that three-way with Ricochet, Bailey and Kenny Omega at Dynasty is bound to be a banger. The match itself was entertaining with a consistently chaotic pace. AEW TBS/NJPW Strong Women's/RevPro Undisputed British Women's Champion def. Billie Starkz (NJPW Strong Women's Championship and RevPro Undisputed British Women's Championship Were Not Defended)I appreciate that this bout got a bit of a buildup with Starkz scouting Mone for the last several weeks, and I thought the video package that aired beforehand getting fans familiar with who she is was a nice touch. I've been following her run in Ring of Honor the past two years and I'm glad she got the chance to look as impressive here as she did. This was a very good match and we can only hope that Athena (Starkz' ally in ROH) is next up for Mone. AEW World Champion Jon Moxley def. Cope in a Street FightTheir main event at Revolution was so boring that I had sub-zero interest in a rematch, though making it a Street Fight did make it mildly more interesting. They brawled through the crowd for a while, which was whatever, but they did try to make the stipulation worthwhile with some of the insanity, including that disgusting spot with "Spike" (the 2x4 with nails in it). That was wildly unnecessary, but I'm sure there are those who thought it was awesome. I hated all of the interference down the stretch, but it was expected given there were no disqualifications. Moxley vs. Swerve Strickland for the AEW World title is now official for Dynasty. Fingers crossed Strickland dethrones Moxley and we can move on from this Death Riders nonsense, but I'm not convinced he will. Will Ospreay def. AR FoxThere really wasn't any reason for this match other than Tony Khan saying on social media earlier in the day that Omega wanted to wrestle. Perhaps they had other plans that had to be changed due to the inclement weather, but this felt random. On the bright side, this was fun for what it was despite the obvious outcome. Ospreay is clearly headed for the men's Owen Hart Cup, even though it hasn't been announced yet when it's kicking off. Megan Bayne def. Kris StatlanderThis was a rematch from a few weeks ago and it was even better than their last encounter. This is after Bayne beat Thunder Rosa on Saturday's Collision, not to mention the two times she laid out Toni Storm last week. In other words, Bayne is getting an aggressive push out of the gate and it's encouraging to see. I just question the decision to immediately put her in the AEW Women's World Championship mix unless the idea is for her to capture the title this early (and she probably should). This was a great main event and another big win for Bayne. We found out from Storm afterward that Bayne will indeed challenge her for the title at Dynasty. Overall ShowI was wondering why they didn't save the Street Fight for last, but they made the right choice by slotting in the middle of the show instead. What we got to end the night instead was much better. I didn't care much for Moxley vs. Cope, but everything else delivered in my opinion. AEW took a less-is-more approach to this episode and it enhanced my enjoyment of it on the whole. This was a significantly stronger effort than last week's Dynamite.
