The Conglomeration (ROH World Champion Mark Briscoe, Orange Cassidy and Tomohiro Ishii) def. The Butcher and The OutrunnersMan, I'm getting so sick of these Conglomeration six-man tag team matches. Unless the idea is that three of the members will soon set their sights on the AEW World Trios Championship, these matches serve no purpose. There was zero chance Butcher and The Outrunners were winning here, so again, this felt pointless and should've been over quicker than it was. Nyla Rose def. Erica LeighLeigh was helping out The Outrunners following their loss in the opener and stuck around for this match. She obviously didn't have to do much since she was swiftly defeated by Rose, which is exactly how this should have gone done. I thought we might see The Outcasts pop up since Saraya beat Rose last week on Rampage, but they had their own segment after this. I guess this just existed to give Rose a rebound victory. "Timeless" Toni Storm Interrupted The OutcastsThe constant screaming from Harley Cameron is insufferable. I'll give her credit where it's due in regards to the strides she's made in the ring, but her character work is consistently terrible, at least in my opinion. At any rate, Saraya mentioned in this segment that she won the AEW Women's World Championship at All In last year and never got a rematch after she lost it, so it was logical for Storm to step up and give her a rematch, which will go down on next Wednesday's Dynamite. AEW World Trios Champion Nick Wayne def. Kip SabianI can't remember the last thing of importance Wayne actually did in AEW, but his recent rivalry with The Patriarchy (where he's been embarrassed every week in backstage segments) has given him weekly television time, if nothing else. He and Wayne didn't get too much time to show what they can do, but it was an okay outing while it lasted. Wayne scored a rare singles win, so there was that. The Don Callis Family (Rush and Kyle Fletcher) def. Rhett Titus and K.M.Fletcher's dynamic is so weird. He had a great babyface showing against MJF last week on Dynamite yet was back in heel mode here as a member of The Don Callis Family. Crowds aren't going to know how to react to him if his character isn't consistent. Thankfully, this was kept short and sweet with Rush and Fletcher going over decisively. Rush is intentionally showing more aggression to prove to Don Callis that he hasn't lost his edge. Top Flight def. MxM CollectionI was fine with Top Flight adding Leila Grey to their act as their "attendant," but the ridiculous flight outfits that Top Flight wore to the ring here have got to go. They looked completely ridiculous. The match itself was fun, though. MxM Collection have fit right in so far and I wouldn't have minded seeing them win here, but Top Flight going over made sense if they're going to start building momentum. Overall ShowGood lord. They really tried to cram as much into this show as possible, and the show was not better off as a result. Why can't they have three matches like they used to when Rampage started three years ago? Five matches plus a talking segment is so incredibly excessive. Storm vs. Saraya for the AEW Women's World Championship being announced for Wednesday's Dynamite was notable, but everything else can easily be skipped over.
