AEW Women's World Champion "Timeless" Toni Storm def. Alex Windsor (Non-Title)Storm is so beloved that crowds haven't grown tired of seeing her in matches that follow the same formula. That said, this was indeed no different than most enhancement matches she's had during her title run. Her last few pay-per-view matches have definitely delivered, but I don't see the point of her having matches like this one. It gave her a win before she faced Mina Shirakawa at Forbidden Door, but that's about it. Cage of Agony (Brian Cage and The Gates of Agony) def. Solomon Tupu, Jay Marston and Kevin GutierrezWe've seen at least one or two other enhancement matches for Cage of Agony in recent weeks. Perhaps the idea is to rebuild them as a dominant force following their split from Swerve Strickland, but I just can't bring myself to care. This was what it needed to be, but I question where these wins are going for Cage of Agony considering the Unified World Trios Championship is currently held by heels. Shota Umino def. Rocky RomeroI remember when Umino was Jon Moxley's apprentice (or whatever term New Japan Pro-Wrestling uses) and he's obviously come a long way since then. I assume he'll be one of the young guys they attempt to build around now that they've lost a lot of their top talent. He was impressive here in what was a well-worked match. Romero loses virtually every match he has in AEW, so this was pretty predictable. Satnam Singh def. Rosario GrilloAnother week, another squash for Singh. As I've said before, I don't know what these are supposed to be leading to when Singh still isn't very good after all this time. He's better than he was when he started, but that's not saying much. I truly have zero desire to see him pushed at a meaningful level when there's so many (far more talented) people who can't even sniff television time these days. Pac def. Jay LethalBoth of these guys are very talented and they had the best bout on the show by a country mile, but it's almost impossible to care about anything Lethal is involved in nowadays because I couldn't tell you the last time he won anything of note. The outcome was incredibly obvious with Pac recently declaring himself for the men's Owen Hart Cup, but at least they made the most of the time they had. Overall ShowThis was your usual inconsequential edition of Rampage. I'm really no fan of the five-match format. Four matches are more than enough, so stretching it to five is overkill, especially when a majority of them are squashes and seemingly serve no purpose. There is zero reason to check out this show, though the main event was enjoyable for what it was despite the outcome never once being in doubt.
