La Faccion Ingobernable (Rush, Dralistico and The Beast Mortos) def. The Butcher, BEEF and JD Drake

BEEF and Drake have been teaming for a few weeks now in the absence of the injured Anthony Henry, but Butcher was such a random partner for them. Is it because he faced a member of LFI recently on AEW TV? I honestly don't remember. Regardless, this was a pretty straightforward six-man tag team match. This win doesn't mean much for the heels, but it did allow them to keep looking strong.

Taya Valkyrie def. Zoey Lynn

Valkyrie and Deonna Purrazzo joined forces about a month or two ago, so they're in the process of rebuilding their credibility with these enhancement matches. That's fine and all, but it's going to take longer for fans to take notice if their storyline is exclusive to Rampage and Collision, shows that are significantly less important than Collision. I liked that Valkyrie showed more aggression than usual by attacking Lynn afterward.

Queen Aminata def. Leila Grey

Aminata took both Mercedes Mone and Kamille to the limit before losing in recent matches on Dynamite, so it made sense for her to pick up a win eventually. Grey is largely relegated to wrestling on ROH TV, so she was a a logical person for Aminata to beat. This was a fairly basic bout and Aminata winning decisively was the right call, but this was forgettable otherwise.

Action Andretti and Top Flight def. The Dark Order (Alex Reynolds, John Silver and Evil Uno)

This was the battle of undercard trios that I don't currently care are feuding with Jon Moxley's group. I like Top Flight and Andretti, but both they and Dark Order failed to win the AEW World Trios Championship from Claudio Castagnoli, Pac and Wheeler Yuta in back-to-back bouts last weekend, so it's time for them to move on. This was serviceable, but I don't know why it existed if they're supposed to be a united front.

Komander def. Lio Rush

Komander will be facing Kyle Fletcher on tomorrow's Collision, which is the only reason why he won here. Both he and Rush are essentially stepping stones in AEW, but at least you can always count on them for fun matches. This was no exception as they had a nice little sprint. It definitely didn't belong in the main event spot, mind you, but then again, it was easily the most meaningful thing on the show compared to everything else.

Overall Show

This was very much a Rampage edition of Rampage, and by that I mean nothing felt like it truly mattered. There was setup for Collision and next week's Dynamite, but there was very little to actually tune in for that made this episode worthwhile. I know that's the norm for Rampage, but you'd think they'd put forth more of an effort before the show gets canceled soon. Apparently not.
