AEW Women's World Champion Mariah May and RevPro Undisputed British Women's Champion and BBW Women's Champion Mina Shirakawa def. Harley Cameron and Nyla RoseEverything about this was weird. First of all, Shirakawa seemed skeptical to reunite with May a few months ago after what May did to Toni Storm, but now they're apparently back to being best friends. Secondly, I can understand why Cameron would be in this match (she lost to Shirakawa on last week's Collision), but why Rose? She had no reason to team with Cameron. This was a decent match, if nothing else. May and Shirakawa are advertised to have a champagne situation at Full Gear. Will that be where May turns on Shirakawa? QT Marshall Attacked Big Boom! A.J. During Their Full Gear Weigh-InA.J. and Big Justice have actually gotten more television time in AEW this year than Marshall, as I believe this marked Marshall's first appearance since returning to the company earlier this year. This is both a match that I couldn't give two shits about but also one that I'm morbidly curious to see because of the potential it has to be a train wreck (which sums up how I feel about the Costco Guys in general). To his credit, A.J. did well on the mic, though Big Justice probably shouldn't have spoken. Amazingly, this wasn't the worst weigh-in AEW has ever done (see: Cody Rhodes and Anthony Ogogo from 2021). Juice Robinson def. The ButcherJay White will be facing Adam Page at Full Gear, but Juice Robinson won't be action in the event as far as I know. Thus, I'm not sure what purpose this was supposed to serve other than to give Robinson a rare singles win. The Butcher is merely around to elevate others at this point, so the outcome was never in doubt here. This was perfectly fine for what it was. The Conglomeration (Tomohiro Ishii, Mark Briscoe and Rocky Romero) def. The Dark Order (Alex Reynolds, John Silver and Evil Uno)Dark Order competing in a main event pretty much tells you what the state of Rampage is in late 2024. How anyone could actually care about this, I have no idea, but it was a serviceable six-man tag team match. Ishii will be challenging Chris Jericho for the ROH World Championship, so it made sense for him to score the win for his team to continue building momentum before then. Overall ShowThankfully, that six-man tag team wasn't what closed the show. Instead, they replayed that great Full Gear hype package that premiered on last week's Collision set to "November Rain" by Guns N' Roses. Tony Khan is wisely making the most of the money he spent for that song. On the whole, this was your usual skippable edition of Rampage. Unironically, the stuff with the Costco Guys was the most "must-see" thing on this show in a long time, just because it was so stupid that it was entertaining.
