The Undisputed Kingdom (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett) def. Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor and ROH Pure Champion Lee Moriarty) and The Gates of Agony in a Three-Way Tag Team MatchAh, the Rampage special: a multi-team tag match with zero stakes. I'm sure there's an audience for this sort of thing, but we see so many of them that it's impossible to care, especially when they all blend together. There was nothing wrong with this, mind you, but I assume it only existed so Undisputed Kingdom could win on AEW TV for a change. It was weird that Taylor would lose one day before he's scheduled to face Jay White on Collision. Anna Jay def. Leila GreyFollowing her shocking Eliminator win over Mariah May last week at Battle of the Belts XII, it was announced here that Jay will get her shot at the AEW Women's World Championship next Saturday on Collision. Thus, this was designed to be a warm-up win for her before then. It was a completely serviceable match. We don't see much of Grey in the ring these days, so it was wise to keep this on the shorter side because I can't imagine it would've been a barn burner if it was longer. The Beast Mortos def. BEEFThere are so many people on the AEW roster we barely see (if at all), yet BEEF gets matches on AEW TV more than most. Why? This really should have been a straight-up squash for Mortos, but instead, it was a competitive contest. BEEF's previous partner Anthony Henry is out injured again, but JD Drake is back. Both guys were attacked by La Faccion Ingobnerable afterward. Ricochet def. Nick WayneIt took two months, but Ricochet has finally made his Rampage debut. Okay, so I'm not looking at this like the death sentence that some people are, but it won't exactly be an encouraging sign if it continues. Plus, he had a somewhat notable opponent in Wayne, so it's not like this was an enhancement match by any means. They had the enjoyable outing you'd expect from them. Ricochet will face Lio Rush on Saturday's Collision, which should be even better. Overall ShowRicochet being in action was the sole hook for this show, and even then, I'm sure him against Lio Rush on Saturday's Collision will be even better. Thus, this edition of Rampage was a waste of time. The opening tag team match didn't seem to serve a storyline purpose other than giving Undisputed Kingdom a much-needed win and the two matches in the middle were nothing you'll remember tomorrow. Rampage's cancelation couldn't come soon enough.
