Private Party and Katsuyori Shitbata def. The Elite (AEW World Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks and AEW TNT Champion Jack Perry)I couldn't tell you the last time The Elite was in action on Rampage, so although their heel act has cooled off considerably in recent months, they were a good get for the show this week. This was given plenty of time and had the enjoyable action you'd expect given the level of talent involved. Private Party and Shibata going over was the right call, especially with Marq Quen pinning Nicholas Jackson. Private Party need to be the ones to challenge the Bucks for the AEW World Tag Team Championship at WrestleDream. Kamille def. Zoey LynnWe haven't seen a whole lot of Kamille in action as of late, but it's smart to give her the occasional match to showcase her dominance. That was exactly what we got here and I'm happy it was kept short and sweet. We saw her confront Kris Statlander backstage beforehand, so it's possible we get that match soon (which would be weird because they're both heels). Queen Aminata def. Harley CameronCameron was without Saraya, who is selling her loss to Jamie Hayer on last week's Collision. This match was perfectly fine for what it was, but there wasn't anything remotely interesting about it. It merely existed to give Aminata a rebound win after losing to Serena Deeb on Collision two weeks ago. Speaking of Deeb, she attacked Aminata afterward to further that feud before Britt Baker made the save. The Conglomeration (Kyle O'Reilly and Orange Cassidy) def. Bryan Keith and Big BillChris Jericho sat in commentary, so if you've missed him behind the booth on Rampage, you were in luck. If you haven't, well, hopefully you watched this on mute. It was a pretty standard main event. I haven't cared about this feud in the slightest, so I can't say I cared too much about this match. We found out on Dynamite that Jericho will challenge Mark Briscoe for the ROH World Championship at WrestleDream, but this had nothing to do with that. Overall ShowIt's hilarious that The Elite to decided to work Rampage the week that AEW renewed their deal with Warner Bros. Discovery where there was no mention of Rampage continuing in 2025. It made this a better edition of Rampage than usual, so there was that. Would I recommend the show? Not really, but the opener had its moments and the other three matches where what they needed to be.
