The Conglomeration (ROH World Champion Mark Briscoe, Kyle O'Reilly and Orange Cassidy) def. The Dark Order (John Silver, Alex Reynolds and Evil Uno)I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times: These Conglomeration matches are so tiresome. Yes, these guys work well together, but their matches largely mean nothing. It would be one thing if they had their sights set on the (pointless) AEW World Trios Championship, but they have yet to establish that's their ultimate goal. It's even more difficult to care about Dark Order, so this match did nothing for me despite being decent. Kamille def. Robyn RenegadeKeep an eye out for Kamille. For those unfamiliar with the run she had in the NWA (where she reigned as the NWA World Women's Champion for over two years), she's improved quite a bit in the ring over the years, so I would not at all be shocked to see her betray Mercedes Mone (or vice versa) at some point. This was a simple squash designed to establish her dominance. Roderick Strong def. BEEFYes, there is a wrestler named BEEF on AEW's roster. Technically, he's on the Ring of Honor roster, but it's pretty much all the same thing. He's been teaming with Anthony Henry in JD Drake's absence, but enough about BEEF. Strong has been completely directionless as of late and I don't think a win over a guy with zero credibility will do much to boost his stock. In short, this felt like a waste of time. The Outcasts def. Allysin Kay and Marti BelleThe Hex is the team name for Kay and Belle, but I don't believe they were announced as that here. It hardly mattered because this was all about The Outcasts and giving them a much-needed win. The match itself was perfectly fine for what it was. Jamie Hayter emerged afterward and attacked Harley Cameron when Saraya got out of harm's way. I thought we might get Hayter vs. Saraya at All Out, but obviously not. Konosuke Takeshita def. Action AndrettiI'm glad it was made clear on Dynamite that Takeshita isn't done with the AEW Continental Championship despite failing to win the four-way for the championship at All Out. Takeshita vs. Kazuchika Okada is going to be a must-see match when it happens. He'll be sharing the ring with Okada in a six-man tag team match next Wednesday on Dynamite, so this existed to give him a momentum-boosting victory before then. The outcome was never in doubt, but it was fun for what it was. Overall ShowIf you were excited by the lineup for this show coming into it, you're either delusional or just a die-hard AEW fan. Okay, I apologize for the rudeness, but you can't convince that Rampage is a worthwhile show from week to week. This was a complete waste of an hour with nothing of note happening whatsoever. The matches were serviceable, but there is zero reason to seek any of them out.
