CM Punk Confronted Kevin OwensJoe Tessitore attempting to interview Owens after interviewing Cody Rhodes last week only to get insulted by Owens for being biased toward Rhodes was well done. That alone would've been fine, but Punk showing up to confront Owens was a pleasant surprise. Punk also confronted Rhodes at the end of Monday's Raw, so they're really hammering home that Punk is a favorite to win (which I feel like decreases his chances). This was an excellent exchange between the two of them that left me desperately wanting to see them feud with each other.

First Class Interrupted Nic Nemeth and Ryan NemethThis was Nic's first in-ring promo since losing the TNA World Championship at Genesis, but he didn't have a chance to say much before he was interrupted by his brother. Props to Ryan for being incredibly obnoxious, I'll give him that. It's channel-changing material for me, but I suppose that's the point. First Class coming out was whatever, but it did set up the main event tag team match for later in the night.
ROH World Tag Team Champion Sammy Guevara def. Aaron SoloDustin Rhodes has been making quite a bit of appearances on AEW programming as of late without Guevara, which makes you wonder what the point of them teaming even is at this point. Guevara's a good talent and he can obviously go in the ring, but it's difficult to care about him as a character these days, especially when he's facing lower-level guys like Solo. This simply seemed to exist for no other reason than to get Guevara on the show.
Will Ospreay def. Brian CageThese two previously faced off last year for the AEW International Championship. There was zero uncertainty surrounding the outcome here as well, but it was a well-wrestled match you'd expect from them. I love that Ospreay is winning more matches with the Styles Clash instead of just using it for a nearfall. Kenny Omega attempted to make the save for Ospreay afterward, but both guys were laid out by The Don Callis Family. There's been teases of a sixth member of the group and I honestly don't have any guesses as to who it could be.
Bayley and NXT Women's Champion Giulia def. Cora Jade and Roxanne PerezBayley last competed in NXT five years ago when she and Sasha Banks successfully defended the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship, and before that, you'd have to go all the way back to 2016. Thus, it was cool to see her back in an NXT ring, especially considering who she was in there with. This was really fun stuff and Bayley pinning Jade was what led to the announcement later on that it will be a Triple Threat with her, Giulia and Perez for the NXT Women's Championship at Vengeance Day.
