 Burchill def. Babathunder by DisqualificationBabathunder is of course the former Babatunde a.k.a. Dabba-Kato a.k.a. Commander Azeez from WWE (yes, he had many names during his time there). He previously debuted for MLW last month and feels like a fine fit for the NWA, assuming he's here to stay. There wasn't much to this match before Babathunder got disqualified by shoving the referee. Mike Mondo came into the ring afterward to talk trash to Burchill, so he must've been the one that he's been cryptically hinting at targeting in recent weeks. Whether he'll be aligned with Babathunder going forward remains to be seen, though.

 Seth "Freakin" Rollins, World Heavyweight Champion Gunther and Logan Paul Interrupted Each OtherThe timing of this segment was interesting because it was exactly one year ago on the Royal Rumble go-home edition of Raw that Gunther confronted an injured Rollins and planted the seeds for a future feud between the two. It still hasn't happened yet, and honestly, I think there's a better chance we see Gunther vs. Paul at WrestleMania 41 than we do Gunther vs. Rollins, just based on recent rumors and reports. Nonetheless, this was a good segment to tease the possibility of Rollins and Paul winning the men's Rumble.
 What's the Royal Rumble Game?For the 13th consecutive year, the Royal Rumble Game is back, and it remains one of my favorite things to do all year. Thanks to all who have ever participated and will continue to participate!
The rules are as follows: You pick a number 1-30 for both the men's and women's pools. They can be different numbers and you can only choose to enter one pool if you'd like (especially if the other Rumble pool is full). Each entry is limited to one person, and it's first come, first serve. The designated sign-up date and time are below. If whoever enters at your number in the Royal Rumble Game wins the whole thing, you win the game! There will two Rumble pools: one for the men's Rumble, and one for the women's Rumble. You are allowed to enter both, so there could be as few as 30 unique entrants between the two pools. You are still limited to only one spot per Rumble, but when you choose two numbers between 1-30, please specify which is for the men's or and which is for women's. No two people can choose the same spot in one Rumble pool. Therefore, there will be two winners (unless the same person wins both, which is possible)!  MLW World Heavyweight Champion Matt Riddle and "Filthy" Tom Lawlor Brawled with Contra UnitRiddle's first promo as champ was pretty much what you'd expect, but I'm glad MLW didn't wait until their next live special to follow up on the big title change. The subsequent brawl that he and Lawlor had with Contra Unit was lame. I realize that it was intended to further the feud (especially with Mads Krule Krugger being in possession of a title shot at any time), but it's simply not a feud I care about in the slightest.
