Women's United States Champion Chelsea Green and Piper Niven Interrupted Trish Stratus and WWE Women's Champion Tiffany Stratton; Stratton def. Green by DisqualificationThe opening segment was perfectly fine, though it seems Stratton never had an actual face turn. Instead, she's best friends with Stratus out of nowhere and never actually endeared herself to the audience or apologized for her previous actions. Also, let the record show that Nick Aldis said last week that he had plans for Green on this show, yet this was an impromptu bout between her and Stratton. It was total throwaway and should've meant more, but at least Green didn't eat another unnecessary loss. The post-match brawl between Stratton, Stratus, Nia Jax and Candice LeRae served as basic hype for their tag team match at Elimination Chamber.

The Colons Confronted The SystemEveryone in The System (except for Eddie Edwards, I believe) took turns addressing their various rivals and storylines. It was a bit of a lengthy segment, but I understand why it existed. Honestly, I don't know what The System gain from The Colons agreeing to having their backs since The System have more than enough members, but I suppose it gives The Colons some sense of direction for the time being.
Esfinge, Atlantis and Fuego def. Rocky Romero, Gran Guerrero and EuforiaRomero was the only one I'm super familiar with, but I've seen most of the other CMLL guys on ROH TV or in AEW or MLW before. This was your standard six-man tag team lucha affair with the expected chaotic pace and good action. Since Romero was the most established of everyone involved, it made sense for him to be the one who got pinned so it meant something to Ring of Honor viewers.
"Hangman" Adam Page def. Aaron SoloThe match itself was a total squash as it should have been, but the focus was on the post-match angle with MJF addressing Page from the stage and revealing that he bloodied Christopher Daniels backstage. Given the way they've established the relationship Page has with Daniels, I thought this was an effective way to put more heat on MJF before their match at Revolution.
NXT Women's North American Champion Stephanie Vaquer def. Karmen PetrovicThere was no chance of Vaquer dropping the title so soon, but I thought Vaquer was a good first challenger for her. They had a nice match and I appreciated that they received as much time as they did. For the record, they went around 11 minutes on a two-hour show, while Lyra Valkyria and Dakota Kai went around seven minutes on a three-hour show. Take notes, Triple H. At any rate, I'm intrigued by that Giulia vs. Vaquer in a Title for Title match at Roadblock, especially since I honestly don't know who'd go over between them.
