The Butcher and The Blade def. Milk ChocolateI've never been the biggest fan of Butcher and Blade, but as I've said before, I appreciate the intensity they bring to their matches. It also means most of their matches are on the shorter side because they completely annihilate their opponents. Unfortunately, this was a little longer than it needed to be, maybe because it was the opener. I also can't stand The Bunny's screeching at ringside. It's beyond obnoxious.

WWE Champion Bobby Lashley and MVP Kicked Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander Out of The Hurt BusinessOf all the dumb booking decisions WWE has made so far this year, this might be the dumbest. Raw has been a slog to sit through for a good while now, but The Hurt Business have been the best thing going for that entire period. To break them up so soon is extremely stupid and premature. Lashley and MVP are obviously sticking together, but Benjamin and Alexander got the boot here. And no, I don't think it's a swerve, because if it was, they wouldn't have gotten physical and had a match later in the night. This segment set the tone for the rest of the episode, which ended up being one of worst in many months (and that's saying something).
Best Friends (Orange Cassidy and Chuck Taylor) def. JD Drake and Ryan NemethDrake and Nemeth are apparently an item now. I like Drake, so if this manages to make Nemeth more interesting, then so be it. I've made it quite clear in my reviews that I couldn't care less about the guy, but at least he's more tolerable being paired off with someone who's better than him. Meanwhile, Best Friends are set to compete in the Arcade Anarchy match on Wednesday's Dynamite, so this gave them a nice momentum boost before then. It was a solid tag team affair. Miro and Kip Sabian emerged afterward to talk trash and lay them out.
Mike Bennett def. Beer City Bruiser by DisqualificationThis stemmed from Bruiser turning on Matt Taven a while back thanks to Vincent's mind games. He wants to get more opportunities, but Brian Milonas doesn't agree with his actions, so it's an interesting dynamic. This was a solid match with an emphasis on storytelling, which I liked. We don't see disqualifications much these days, so I was with the finish. It also set up Bruiser vs. Taven for a future episode.
