Asher Hale def. Tony NeseNese can work well with just about anyone and Hale was no exception. They had a super fun match here with Hale's hard-hitting offense (and Nese's selling of such) being the highlight. Nese is undoubtedly the MVP of 205 Live while Hale has plenty of potential. I'd have no problem with these two running it back at some point and I'm sure they will given how small the Cruiserweight division is.

The Usos def. The Street ProfitsI haven't seen a regular old match be made to feel this special in some time. WWE advertised it a week ago and then gave them mic time beforehand to hype it up, which was extremely effective in getting me more excited for the encounter than I already was. Better yet, it exceeded my expectations by being a terrific match. They were given way more time than I thought they would be, which I appreciated. The Usos were on the same page here and secured the victory, but how much longer is that going to be the case for? I'm looking forward to the eventual rematch(es).
Moose and The Good Brothers Interrupted Sami CallihanCallihan criticized Kenny Omega and The Good Brothers for what happened at Sacrifice, which brought out Moose who brought up how he was the one who won the Under Siege main event and is next in line to face Omega. Good Brothers expected Moose to align with them, but he ended up laying them as I figured he would to set up the night's tag team main event. Everyone played their roles well, and since we don't see this sort of segment often from IMPACT, I was fine with it as it accomplished what it needed to do.
Nathan Frazer def. Sha SamuelsSamuels cost Frazer his match against Noam Dar a few weeks ago on the show, so this was Frazer's chance at redemption. He's been all smiles so far in NXT UK, so I liked how the loss to Dar was what led to him getting more aggressive. It worked as, despite a solid effort from Samuels and outside interference from Dar, Frazer was able to pick up the victory. It was a quality opener with Frazer getting back to his winning ways.
Ricochet def. Mustafa Ali in a 2-Out-of-3 Falls MatchYes, we got a two-out-of-three falls match on Main Event. No, you aren't seeing things. I'm so happy WWE actually chose to continue this feud following their last three encounters. I was worried it wouldn't get a proper pay-off because Ricochet has been on Raw recently feuding with Sheamus, so it's great we got it here. It wasn't as fast-paced as I was expecting early on, but it didn't need to be given how much time they had to fill. I thought the first two falls ending in a count-out win for Ali and then a disqualification win for Ricochet were lame, but the third fall was great and the finish looked fantastic. This was the usual excellent work from these two. As noted, Ricochet has found himself back on Raw, so hopefully Ali isn't too far behind.
