LAX def. Z & E to Win the Impact Tag Team ChampionshipZema Ion and Andrew Everett have been a hell of a tandem since joining forces not too long ago and this was another extremely entertaining outing from them, wisely positioned as the opener to the show. LAX lost their edge recently and have been fighting to get it back, but they were in full form again here and had an A+ performance, as well as Z & E. Their reign as champions was short-lived yet fun, while LAX are back at the forefront of the tag team division where they belong. Scott Steiner Attacked K.M.This segment started out with K.M. calling out Fallah Bahh and attempting to "make amends" with him, before being denied and put in a match with Steiner instead. I was really hoping Steiner's match against Eli Drake recently would be his last in IMPACT for a while, but apparently not. This wasn't exactly pretty or good, but if nothing else, it was kept on the shorter side and didn't overstay its welcome.

#AskGSM Edition #238: WWE Money in the Bank and NXT TakeOver: Chicago II Fallout, Big Cass Released!6/20/2018 #AskGSM is a weekly Q&A video where I, Graham "GSM" Matthews answer fan questions from Facebook, Twitter and YouTube in regards to the world of wrestling. Nothing is off limits, and this week’s edition touches upon a variety of topics including:
Bianca Belair def. Dakota KaiBelair impresses me more and more with every showing she has, especially considering how new she still is to wrestling. Kai, on the other hand, always plays the underdog role exceptionally well, so I liked the dynamic they had in this match. Belair is obviously the one officials are keen on pushing right now, not to mention Kai never loses anything in defeat, so the result was the right one. This was very good while it lasted. War Raiders def. The MightyBefore I discuss the match itself, I just want to note that I dig The Mighty's new look with the tights and ring jackets. Granted, they lost here, but they're quickly finding their footing as heels, which is encouraging. Although this was largely a showcase for War Raiders, The Mighty scored a decent measure of offense, though the crowd ate up anything that involved War Raiders squashing their opponents. I could certainly see them contending for the NXT Tag Team Championship come TakeOver: Brooklyn IV.
Trios Champions Killshot, The Mack and Son of Havoc def. Big Bad Steve, Sammy Guevara and JAke StrongFamous B noted that his clients Texano and Dr. Wagner Jr. were off "making him money," so they were replaced in this match with Steve, Guevara and Strong (f.k.a. Jack Swagger). This was your typical trios matchup in that it was highly enjoyable and had solid showings from all involved. There was never a dull moment and the champs retained their titles as they should have. Post-match, Strong laid out his partners, so I'm glad he's being made to look good from the get-go. Dragon Azteva Jr. def. Drago for an Ancient Aztec MedallionBefore the bout, Antonio Cueto announced that the Gift of the Gods Championship match is making its return soon and thus the quest for the ancient Aztec medallions is on, starting with this contest. Drago remains under Kobra Moon's control. He and Azteca had a good matchup here and it was a fun sprint for the time they were given. Afterward, Johnny Mundo and Taya targeted Moon and Drago, seemingly starting a feud between them.
