Riddle Won a Battle Royal to Advance to the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match Qualifier Later in the NightAdam Pearce and Sonya Deville opened the show announcing that Randy Orton couldn't compete in the night's Triple Threat qualifying match and Riddle offered to serve as his substitute and win this Battle Royal and that Triple Threat on his behalf. I don't know if Orton's injury/absence is a work or not, but either way, I thought this was really well done. Riddle technically cost Orton a spot in the men's Money in the Bank Ladder match last week by serving as a distraction at ringside when Orton faced John Morrison, so this was his way of making it up to Orton. It was a run-of-the-mill Battle Royal yet exactly what it needed to be. I appreciated that Damian Priest was in there until the very end, though I wish a bigger deal was made over his return considering he hadn't been seen on WWE TV since mid-May. On a side note, can we please do away with the dumb 24/7 Championship please?!

Gunn Club (Colten and Billy Gunn) def. The Wingmen (Ryan Nemeth and JD Drake)The Wingmen do northing for me personally as it's just another undercard stable, but as I've said before, it gives those guys something to do, gives everyone else some people to beat, and they seem to be having fun with it. I care even less about Gunn Club (which has been well documented in these reviews), but it's a positive that they're finally facing more than just the usual enhancement/unknown talent. This was a perfectly passable outing to kick off the show.
Matt Taven def. Dutch by DisqualificationI actually had a chance to see Dutch in action just yesterday at a Northeast Wrestling event in Waterbury, Connecticut. He was really impressive with what he could do for a guy his size, and I love his dedication to the character. He'll make for a fine addition to The Righteous, which was down a member anyway because that clown guy never returned after Ring of Honor's relaunch. This was less about the in-ring action and more about furthering Taven's feud with The Righteous, but what we got from them was good. The Righteous attacked Taven and caused the disqualification, which brought out Mike Bennett to make the save. This storyline has lasted so long that I'm just ready for it to end. Hopefully we get that closure at Best in the World so everyone involved can move on.
"Hangman" Adam Page def. Powerhouse HobbsAs I've said before, Paige is the perfect person to kick off any wrestling show. He just brings an energy to his matches and has a connection with the crowd unlike anyone else on the roster aside from maybe Darby Allin. I definitely feel like All Out is the right time to pull the trigger on him against Kenny Omega for the AEW World Championship, and him knocking off the number three ranked wrestler will only help his cause. This was an entertaining opener with strong showings from both men. Hobbs continues to impress any time I see him in action. He hasn't been in the company for a full year and is already making great strides.
Ikemen Jiro def. Ariya DaivariIt's very well documented that I'm no Daivari fan, and I'm honestly shocked he lasted as long as he did considering he was never going to make the main roster. You can say the same about Tony Nese I suppose, but I've always found Nese to be way better than Daivari. That said, Daivari has arguably been doing the best work of his entire WWE run this year while working with the new guys. This was another solid showing from him with Jiro impressing again. Jiro going over one of the longtime gatekeepers of the brand in the latter's farewell match seemed fitting.
