"Hangman" Adam Page Addressed the AudiencePage delivered his entire promo in Spanish, which was pretty impressive, and it wasn't a short promo, either. From what Excalibur translated of it on commentary, it was solid stuff and the crowd ate it up. Page has successfully regained the organic momentum he had back in 2021 and thus it's going to be that much more disappointing if/when he doesn't beat Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship at All In.

Jaida Parker def. Thea Hail in an Evolution Eliminator MatchThese two have been at odds for at least the last month or so and thus I appreciated the hot start to the match with Hail attacking Parker from behind during her entrance. They worked with intensity during the matchup, which made for a fun final stretch. I would've been fine with either of them advancing, but Parker belongs in championship contention right now and Hail can easily bounce back from the loss.
The Lost (Alex Misery, Lev and Gaagz the Gymp) def. Size Matters and Tyler FranksI still have no desire to see Gaagz the Gymp a part of The Lost (the fact that character is still around after all these years is mind-boggling to me), but I like the rest of the group. Thus, them going over was the right call, not to mention we don't see enough of Size Matters for them to, well, matter. This wasn't always super smooth, but it ended up being a decent opener on the whole.
Women's World Champion IYO SKY Attacked WWE Women's Tag Team Champion Liv MorganThis was an interesting segment to start the show with. I'm not complaining as it was a nice change of pace and there wasn't anything technically wrong with it, but it felt like it belonged elsewhere on the episode since there wasn't any significant developments other than planting the seeds for a future match between Morgan and Sky. Perhaps this would've amounted to something had Morgan vs. Kairi Sane been cut short later on.
Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena Was Confronted by Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton and LA Knight and Attacked by Ron "The Truth" KillingsCena's mic work was a little less forced here, so that was refreshing. Him interacting with Rhodes all but confirms they're headed for a rematch at SummerSlam (not to mention Rhodes pinned him at Money in the Bank). Orton was only out there to hype his involvement in King of the Ring. As for Knight, it was cool to see him out there with the main eventers, but if him and Cena don't cross paths again, this was a waste of time. Killings attacking Cena on the stage was well done and led into what happened with them later.
