LA Knight def. Santos EscobarThese two last faced off in the first round of the King of the Ring tournament a few months ago, but it happened at a house show, so we didn't get to see it. Escobar was obviously no threat to Knight and the match wasn't anything out of the ordinary, but they worked well together in the time they were allotted. Logan Paul attacked Knight afterward to further build toward their United States Championship clash at SummerSlam.

Zero Hour: MxM Collection def. Spanish Announce ProjectThe Maximum Male Models gimmick was dead on arrival in WWE because LA Knight had no business being a part of it, but once Knight left the group, Mace and Mansoor were actually pretty entertaining on their own. WWE never gave them a chance to show that on television and thus they got released. All of that said, they're a great fit in Ring of Honor. This was a little too competitive for my liking, but MxM Collection got to shine and won in their debut as they should have.
TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth Accepted Mustafa Ali's TNA World Championship ChallengeI know a lot of people wanted Joe Hendry to win the World title at Slammiversary (I would've been perfectly fine with it myself), but he can capture it in due time. Nemeth needed to get a run with it first and should hold it through at least Slammiversary. I really liked the exchange he and Ali had here to set up their title match for next week's show. I don't know if that will be it for Ali in TNA, but if so, that's a cool way for him to go out. It's amazing to think these two were having an undercard feud on Raw back in early 2023 and now they're top players in TNA.
Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castagnoli and ROH Pure Champion Wheeler Yuta) def. Shane Taylor Promotions (Anthony Ogogo and Lee Moriarty)Although it was good for ROH TV to have Castagnoli back, it's not exactly an encouraging sign for Castagnoli, who has felt directionless for a while now. Despite that, this served as a nice preview of Yuta vs. Moriarty for the ROH Pure Championship at Death Before Dishonor. It was a very well-wrestled opener and was given plenty of time. Shane Taylor feels like much more of a threat to Yuta than Moriarty does.
Jacy Jane def. Brinley ReeceIt's been a while since we got an NXT vs. NXT match on Main Event. It's good exposure for the talent, but if they're not established, the crowd tends to be quiet because they don't know who they are. That was the case here, but to their credit, Jane and Reece had a perfectly fine match. It was NXT Level Up quality, but they held their own. Jane has been stuck in the same spot for some time in NXT, so it will be interesting to see if she's ever considered for a main roster call-up. Then again, Raw has done nothing with Kiana James since the Draft, so perhaps she's better off staying in NXT for now.
