Bang Bang Gang (Ace Austin and Juice Robinson) def. Grizzled Young Veterans

Bang Bang Gang is officially back in full force now that Jay White has returned from injury and the rest of the group is also healthy. We'll see how that affects their standing in Ring of Honor, if at all. ROH has plenty of other teams I'd rather see get pushed toward ROH World Tag Team Championship contention, including Grizzled Young Veterans, but Austin and Robinson are a talented tandem. This was a solid opener.

Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso Confronted Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn

Zayn has been playing his role remarkably well all year and this promo was another excellent piece of work from him. I love how he's fully embraced the tweener role and it's made for a fascinating dynamic with everyone he interacts with, particularly Rhodes. I have zero desire to see Uso in the world title picture on either show, but I understand this had to happen to set up the night's number one contender's main event. This was a really good segment.

Hook def. Nick Comoroto

Hook getting squashes on ROH TV is comical because it must mean he's mostly fallen out of favor with Tony Khan on AEW TV. Yes, The Opps still exist in Samoa Joe's absence, but barely, and Hook's stock has plummeted in the past year. But they'll still build him up with wins that don't matter for some reason. This was a standard showcase for Hook. Yes, Comoroto is bigger than Hook, but Hook beating him wasn't all that impressive.
