Angelina Love def. Max the Impaler in a ROH Women's Championship Tournament Quarterfinal MatchLove did a nice job of recapping her history with Max and her manager Amy Rose in a pre-match sit-down interview. I have no idea where Mandy Leon was, but I'm not complaining because she almost always interferes in Love's matches. This was thankfully kept on the shorter side because Love's matches are typically abysmal and this was what it needed to be. Love picked up the win by disqualification to advance, but hopefully she doesn't make it past the semifinals.

Tim Storm def. Crimson and Thom Latimer in a Brawl in the LouA Brawl in the Lou is basically another name for a No Disqualification match and they took full advantage of the stipulation. I mean, that dive from Latimer onto Storm through a piece of the barricade was wild. Props to all three men involved because they put forth a hell of an effort. This was a lot better than I thought it was going to be. Storm was by far the oldest person in the match, but because he's an NWA OG, I had no problem with him going over, especially since it was the anniversary show.
Mickie James Addressed the AudienceJames served as the executive producer of the event, which is why she wasn't in action (in fact, she'll be wrestling on Sunday's NWA 73 pay-per-view against Kylie Rae). She went on the record following her release from WWE that she pushed for another installment of Evolution but WWE wasn't interested because some people in power didn't think it did well the first time, or something along those lines. Thus, it's fantastic James was able to do an All In-esque show with women from various promotions and be the frontrunner of it. This was a nice, short and sweet message from her to kick off the evening.
The Lucha Brothers def. Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus) in the Finals of the AEW World Tag Team Championship Eliminator TournmentI expected a total spot-fest from these teams and that's exactly what this was. That said, I thoroughly enjoyed it as that's their specialty and the non-stop action was fun to follow. It helped that it could have gone either way, but Jurassic Express were my pick to win because of their recent issues with The Young Bucks. Thus, I was definitely surprised Lucha Brothers won, and I'm not opposed to because of the roll they're on right now. This was all over the place, but it wasn't a mess of a match. Rather, it was the perfect kind of chaos.
Grayson Waller def. Andre ChaseThe more I see of Chase, the more he reminds me of Drew Gulak, just based on his appearance and how he wrestles. Unlike Gulak, however, WWE viewers know nothing about him and thus he still bores me to tears. That said, this was a quality contest. I don't know who the crowd was supposed to cheer for, but from an in-ring standpoint, this was very well-wrestled and they worked a nice pace.
