AEW Continental Champion Jon Moxley def. Orange CassidyBoth of these guys have so much history with Pac that it was only fitting that they faced off on this show. They also have no shortage of history with each other, so unsurprisingly, this was the usual enjoyable outing from these two. It was a bit more lighthearted than some of their other encounters, but that made more sense under the circumstances. This was a strong start to the show from an in-ring standpoint, and Bryan Danielson coming out afterward to make amends with Moxley was wonderful.

Mascarita Sagrada, Adelicious, Mr. Iguana and AAA Latin American Champion La Parka def. Mini Abismo Negro and The Vanity Project (Myka Lockwood and NXT Tag Team Champions Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes)I know for a fact that The Undertaker would love to get his hands on Lockwood in AAA (in the sense that he'd love to book her there, in case that wasn't clear). He previously served as her mentor on WWE LFG. She was easily the most impressive person in this match, which was an enjoyable opener on the whole. It featured the usual lucha action and Vanity Project didn't look out of place in there in the slightest.
NXT Women's North American Champion Zaria def. Thea HailHail has found herself in this situation quite a bit over the years. It's definitely gotten tiresome because she never wins when it matters most (except for that one time when she became Women's North American champ by accident), but to her credit, she always excels as the underdog and that was once again the case here. It was an enjoyable opener, and the clean win for Zaria indicates this was a one and done.
The Bloodline Called Out The 946We've seen several different versions of the same segment with these guys over the last month or so, which is why this one didn't really stand out to me, but at least it led to something significant at the end of the show. Everyone played their roles well and whatnot, but the top takeaway from this segment was Jaida Parker making her first-ever appearance on Raw. That obviously played into what happened later on, but it was certainly an intriguing hook for the rest of the show.
Tailgate Brawl: "Jungle" Jack Perry def. Katsuyori ShibataPerry has been calling out former world champions over the last month or so and Samoa Joe was next on his list, but The Opps that he wasn't worthy of Joe yet, so Perry faced Shibata of The Opps instead. This was a well-worked match as you'd expect with the outcome you'd expect as well. I figured Perry would have to go through more members of The Opps before Joe returned, so Joe returning right after this over was cool.
