WWE Women's Champion Tiffany Stratton and Jade Cargill Exchanged WordsStratton coming out and demanding a fight with Cargill made sense after Cargill blindsided and attacked her last week. That said, there really wasn't much to this segment at all, and it's not like we got more from them later on, either. Rather, they kept short and sweet ahead of their WWE Women's Championship clash at Saturday Night's Main Event. My mind has not changed: Cargill must take that title from Stratton on Saturday or risk losing whatever momentum she has coming off her heel turn.

Dalton Castle and The Outrunners def. Leeroy Shogun, Logan Cruz and Tyson MalrickWhile I didn't start out as the biggest Outrunners fan, they have grown on me over the last year and there's no denying how they've managed to organically get themselves over with the audience. That said, I'm amazed more hasn't been done with them this year, either in AEW or Ring of Honor. The ROH World Tag Team Championship means very little at this point, so the fact they haven't held those belts yet (let alone been in contention much for them) is wild. Nonetheless, this was a solid showcase for them and Castle. Surely they'll challenge for the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship at some point, right?
Darby Allin and Orange Cassidy def. The Death Riders (Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia)While we technically haven't seen this exact match before, we've seen almost every iteration of these four against each other, so I can't say this did much for me despite it being well wrestled. It basically existed to give Allin an additional momentum boost and further build toward him and The Conglomeration facing Death Riders in Blood and Guts in two weeks, which was made official a little later on.
NXT Champion Ricky Saints and Trick Williams BrawledWilliams storming into the arena as aggressively as he did was really well done. It was a side of him we don't see very often (if ever) and it made sense since he's officially lost it all. His subsequent brawl with Saints confirmed their feud isn't over yet, despite Ava making it clear that Williams lost fair and square at Halloween Havoc. They continued brawling for the rest of the show, leading to Ava announcing a Last Man Standing match between them for Night 1 of Gold Rush.
King Bee Match: Spencer Slade, Damian Fenrir and Luke Kurtis def. The Lost (Crazzy Steve, Lev and Alex Misery); Fenrir def. Kurtis and Slade in an NWA Junior Heavyweight Championship No. 1 Contender's Three-Way MatchTNA has done a version of the NWA's new King Bee concept before where we get a multi-person tag team match and then the winners of that will immediately face each other. It wouldn't have made much sense for The Lost to be in the three-way, so Slade, Fenrir and Kurtis advancing instead was logical. Both bouts were well wrestled and had nice action. I was wondering following Fenrir's recent showcase win whether it would amount to anything and now we have our answer, even though I don't expect him to take the title from Alex Taylor.
