#AskGSM is a weekly Q&A video where I, Graham "GSM" Matthews, answer fan questions from Facebook, Twitter and YouTube in regards to the world of wrestling. Nothing is off limits, and this week’s edition touches upon a variety of topics including:

NXT North American Champion Roderick Strong def. Austin TheoryAustin Theory was one of the last people I expected to answer the open challenge, but I'm happy he did. This marked his official debut on NXT TV and he had a hell of a showing. Granted, it's hard for Strong to have a bad match with anyone, but I thought Theory more than held his own here and gained a ton in defeat. This was an incredibly exciting championship clash and I'm looking forward to seeing more of Theory on the black-and-gold brand. Isiah "Swerve" Scott def. Gentleman Jack GallagherWatching this match in person live from the Barclays Center, I can tell you that people were bored and sat on their hands for most of it. Technically speaking, there wasn't anything wrong with it, but I felt they relied way too much on rest holds instead of working the chaotic style we've come to expect from the Cruiserweights in NXT. I know for a fact that they have a much better, more exciting encounter in them. For what this was, though, it was solid.
Sammy Guevara def. Brandon CutlerIt's crazy to think that Guevara hadn't won any singles matches in AEW prior to this point, and that it took him beating a guy like Cutler to do it. No offense to Cutler, but the outcome was never in doubt. That said, this was a nice little match while it lasted and it was easily Cutler's best showing to date. It probably didn't need to be almost eight minutes, but that's merely nitpicking. Santana and Ortiz def. Private Party, Best Friends, and The Hybrid2 in a Four-Way Tag Team MatchAs entertaining of a match as this was, my favorite part personally was Orange Cassidy's involvement and how he was shown laying on the ladder when Santana and Ortiz pulled it from underneath the ring. I don't know why, but that made me burst out laughing. In all seriousness, this was a hell of a sprint with all four teams bringing the goods. It was just a fantastic four-way with Santana and Ortiz successfully bouncing back from their loss to The Young Bucks last week.
Kevin Owens def. Mojo Rawley in a No Disqualification MatchOwens was kept off last week's Raw, so the crowd popped when he kicked off the show. He laid out Rawley with a Stunner two weeks ago and decimated him again here. It was actually Rawley's first match on Raw since May, but I see no reason for him to appear more often on the show going forward. This was designed to give Owens an easy win and nothing more. Owens attempted to fight Seth Rollins and AOP afterward but was left looking up at the lights. Bobby LAshley def. Cedric AlexanderThere were rumors of Alexander getting buried toward the end of his rivalry with AJ Styles over the United States Championship a few months ago and they weren't entirely inaccurate seeing as how he's hardly competed/won on Raw since. He and Lashley had a fun little match, but the outcome was never in doubt. This allowed Lashley to maintain momentum heading into his heavily touted wedding with Lana next week. I'm bursting at the seams with anticipation as I type this (sarcastically speaking, of course).
