Cody Rhodes vs. Jacob Fatu Never Got UnderwayIt wouldn't have hurt Rhodes in the slightest to lose to Fatu here, even if it was a clean loss, but I assumed this would end in some sort of a non-finish to protect both guys. They went a different route entirely by not going through with the match at all, and although that was a bummer, the brawl we got instead was a blast and the crowd ate it up. Drew McIntyre attacking them made sense, but I hope this doesn't mean we're getting a Triple Threat between them at WrestleMania 42 because the McIntyre vs. Rhodes rivalry has really run its course.

Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes vs. NXT Champion Oba Femi Ended in a No Contest (Non-Title)I suspected we'd get some sort of non-finish with this being a champion vs. champion match, so although I wasn't completely surprised when Drew McIntyre ran in, it was lame, nonetheless. Thankfully, the bout prior to that point was entertaining and Femi proved he could hang with Rhodes. Needless to say, he'll be completely fine by the time he's called up to the main roster. Maybe McIntyre will be his first program when that time comes.
Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes def. Drew McIntyreAs announced on SmackDown, if Rhodes was disqualified or counted-out here, he would've lost the Undisputed WWE Championship. Despite the stipulation, Rhodes hit McIntyre with a DDT on the belt and beat him, anyway. What a lame finish that once again made McIntyre look like a moron and a loser. The match itself was probably on par with their encounter from Wrestlepalooza if not slightly better. I have no idea where you go with these two from here.
Randy Orton def. Drew McIntyreThis match was made official a week ago, but the focus shifted to Logan Paul and Jelly Roll at ringside after what happened on Friday's SmackDown. Orton and McIntyre worked well together as always, but the outcome virtually didn't matter since McIntyre and Paul attacked Orton and Jelly afterward, anyway. Orton's backstage conversation with Jelly later on basically made the tag team matchup official for SummerSlam, for anyone who cares.
Bron Breakker and Seth Rollins def. Sami Zayn and CM PunkThis was a smart choice to serve as the opener because the crowd was so hot for it. This had enjoyable action and the finish was fantastic with Bronson Reed returning, attacking Punk and officially joining Paul Heyman's new crew. Yes, Rollins and Reed were feuding before Reed got hurt, so they'll have to acknowledge that on Raw and explain why they're willing to work together now, but I'm a big fan of the move otherwise. Six-man tag team match with Rollins, Breakker and Reed against Zayn, Punk and Roman Reigns or Jey Uso incoming?
