WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill Confronted Women's World Champion Liv Morgan and Raquel RodriguezRhea Ripley was written off WWE TV with a beatdown angle in the NXT parking lot last week, so she'll be gone again for a bit. In the meantime, it looks like Morgan will be busy with a new challenger (more on that in a moment) as well as chasing the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship. Honestly, I'd have no issue with her and Rodriguez taking the titles from Belair and Cargill because it's time for the latter duo to start building toward a split. This segment did its job in planting the seeds for that match and setting up the impromptu number one contender's Battle Royal. IYO SKY Won the Women's World Championship No. 1 Contender's Fatal 4-Way MatchI say it often (regardless of the company), but it's true: This was pretty much every Battle Royal you've ever seen. Raw has a ton of women on its roster, but very few of them are actually over, so this was largely uninteresting (even though the crowd was hot for a majority of it). Only the final few minutes stood out with Morgan and Rodriguez eliminating Belair and Cargill and SKY eliminating Lyra Valkyria to win it. I'm happy to see SKY back in contention for a singles title. War Raiders def. The New Day (Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston)War Raiders already beat New Day in last week's Triple Threat number one contender's match, but this allowed them to keep their momentum rolling before they challenge for the World Tag Team Championship soon. It was a well-wrestled match, but the top takeaway was tension continuing to be teased between Woods and Kingston. It was announced after the show than upcoming episode of Raw will be dedicated to New Day's 10-year anniversary this month, so could that be where we get the long-awaited breakup? The Usos Confronted Sami ZaynWe've been getting a lot of Bloodline developments across Raw and SmackDown over the last month, mostly because WWE needs to set up WarGames at Survivor Series and get the original Bloodline back together before then. Oddly enough, there wasn't anything significantly furthered here, but it was fun to get The Usos and Zayn in the same segment together. Jey was willing to accept Zayn's help, but not Jimmy, so we'll obviously find out Roman Reigns' reaction on Friday's SmackDown. Dragon Lee def. Chad GableI was looking forward to this match on paper, but sometimes matches like this on Raw are rather short and don't live up to their full potential. Well, I was happy to have been wrong here. Lee and Gable had a hell of a match in the time they were allotted. Both guys need wins, but I can't get too excited about Lee winning considering he needed help from Rey Mysterio to do it. Mysterio vs. Gable should be good, though. Damian Priest def. "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, Sheamus and Seth "Freakin" Rollins in a World Heavyweight Championship No. 1 Contender's Fatal 4-Way MatchI really thought there was a strong chance that Dominik would win after he beat Priest last week, but I'm totally fine with Priest getting the next shot instead. They didn't clarify whether it will be saved for Survivor Series or another time, but Saturday Night's Main Event in mid-December is too far away in my opinion. The Fatal 4-Way itself was enjoyable and was made even better by the hot crowd. Bronson Reed attacking Rollins and costing him the win keeps that feud alive as well. Overall ShowFor a taped show, this edition of Raw exceeded my expectations. The crowd in Saudi Arabia was loud for a majority of the night and we got some significant storyline developments with both Priest and SKY earning future title shots. There wasn't much movement with The Bloodline stuff, but New Day are getting closer to a split (fingers crossed, anyway) and Lee vs. Gable was a treat. All in all, this was a super solid show and the two hours breezed by.
