Damian Fenrir def. Ethan Tornadeau and Alex Misery in an NWA Junior Heavyweight Championship No. 1 Contender's Three-Way Match; NWA Junior Heavyweight Champion Spencer Slade def. FenrirThe three-way was another "Gut Check" from Aron Stevens where the winner would earn an immediate title shot, this time for Slade's Junior Heavyweight title. It was pretty obvious Tornadeau was eating the pin, but it could've gone either way between Fenrir and Misery. I believe Fenrir has been getting a bit of a push recently (if I'm remembering correctly), so it was weird that he won and then quickly lost to Slade. Both bouts were fine, but I don't exactly love the concept (even though it's fitting for a heel). Bonez def. Gaagz the GympI still don't understand the appeal of Gaagz or why the character is still around at this point, so any instance where he gets beat is a positive in my book. Okay, so there really wasn't anything worth noting from the match, nor do I know what purpose this was supposed to serve, but at least Bonez won because that was absolutely the correct outcome. Bonez' manager got some mic time beforehand, so he did get somewhat of an introduction beforehand. Pretty Boy Smooth def. Big CuzzoCuzzo is one of those guys that probably pops up in the NWA's other territories yet I know nothing about him because I only follow Powerrr, but I thought he held his own here. This was more so about showcasing Smooth and giving him a victory. Trevor Murdoch attacked Smooth afterward, so apparently that feud isn't over. The commentators acted surprised by that, too. Pretty City Express def. Jack N' EddieI appreciate that we're seeing more of Pretty City Express and Jack N' Eddie on Powerrr instead of them disappearing after only having a match or two. Both teams are talented from what I've seen and help fill out what's a rather depleted division in my opinion. Jack N' Eddie give me enhancement-esque vibes, so Pretty City Express winning made sense, but I thought both teams had solid showings. Bryan Idol def. Carnage in a No Limits MatchI don't believe it was officially announced during the introductions, but this was basically a number one contender's match for the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship with Idol putting his title shot on the line. The No Limits stipulation made it more meaningful as well, even though there wasn't anything too extreme about it. They had a well-worked main event. Thom Latimer gave Idol the assist, but Carnage's tag team partner was oddly nowhere to be found. Overall ShowAlthough Idol is getting another opportunity at the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship eventually, it was announced at the end of the episode that next week's episode will see Silas Mason defend against either Dr. Vik or Wrecking Ball Legursky. As for this edition of Powerrr, it was perfectly passable. It felt like the leftovers from whatever taping this was from as only the main event was somewhat significant, but I didn't have an issue with anything we got (outside of Gaagz... what's the point?).
