Spencer Slade def. Hunter Drake, Alex Misery and Lev in an NWA Junior Heavyweight Championship No. 1 Contender's Four-Way MatchPer the stipulation of their match from a few week ago, Misery now controls Lev, so that added an interesting dynamic to this. It was a well-wrestled four-way with everyone making the most of the time and getting a chance to shine. I wasn't pulling for anyone in particular to win, but Slade vs. Alex Taylor for the Junior Heavyweight title should be solid despite both guys being heels. Mike Mondo def. BurchillI liked that we got some backstory from Mondo in a backstage interview beforehand about the bad blood he's had for Burchill for the past 20 years. I can't imagine anyone actually cares about one lower-midcard wrester in WWE not shaking the hand of another lower-midcard wrestler in WWE two decades ago, but at least they established a reason for why this match was happening, which I appreciated. This was decent while it lasted and Mondo hitting Burchill with a low blow when the referee wasn't looking gives him a cheap win and keeps the feud alive. NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Thom Latimer Interrupted EC3EC3 spoke to Kyle Davis in the ring about his upcoming Steel Cage match with Latimer for the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship and was cutting your average heel promo when he was interrupted by Latimer, but EC3 left before offering a rebuttal. I was hoping for more, but honestly, they've interacted so much over the years that I didn't have an issue with this being kept on the shorter side because I'm just ready for the rivalry to be over. Blunt Force Trauma def. Baron Von Storm and KratosKratos revealed that Odinson is injured, so he needed a mystery partner for this match. I'm not going to say Storm was a disappointing choice he's also now without a partner with Jax Dane recently having passed, but I am disappointed that he's still doing that dumb gimmick. He's much better as the white-meat babyface, so hopefully he can go back to that soon. This was a fairly boring main event and I imagine Aron Stevens' interference sets up a rematch that we don't need. Overall ShowAlthough this was far from an exciting episode of Powerrr, I liked that everything felt like it mattered. That's rare for the typical shows that aren't from the bigger events. A new number one contender to the NWA Junior Heavyweight Championship was determined and feuds were furthered. None of the wrestling is worth seeking out, but they filled the time nicely and progressed certain storylines.
