"Thrillbilly" Silas Mason def. Mr. GrimIn retrospect, Mason would've been a much better fit to dethrone EC3 for the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship than Thom Latimer. I know Latimer has been around a lot longer, but Mason is more of a well-rounded performer and belongs at the top of the card. Racking up wins won't hurt, though. I haven't seen too much of Grim in the ring, but he held his own here in what was a solid hoss fight. Pretty Empowered def. Caribbean FlowI applaud the NWA for doing as much as they have with the women's tag team division over the years, but these matches are starting to get repetitive. I'd rather see Kenzie Paige focus on her NWA World Women's Championship than get back in the NWA World Women's Tag Team Championship mix. With all of that said, this was a well-worked match and Ruthie Jay betraying La Rosa Negra afterward has me intrigued. Talos and Daisy Kill def. Miserably FaithfulI'm always surprised whenever Miserably Faithful pop up because I honestly forget that they're still a thing. Why that is, I have no idea, but I suppose it could be worse (they were featured a lot more a few years ago). This was a decent match, though I would've preferred a straightforward squash. It had the correct outcome with Talos and Kill being former NWA United States Tag Team Champions. Kyle Davis Interviewed Mike MondoMondo had his NWA in-ring debut last week and teased in a pre-match promo being in the NWA for a specific person. He expanded upon that here by saying it was someone he shared the road with years ago and possibly the ring a time or two. I legitimately have no clue who he could be referring to, but I like that he's leaving viewers guessing who his first program will be with and creating a little bit of intrigue. Haley J def. Lili RuizI'm still confused as to what happened with the NWA World Women's Championship shot that Haley J earned. Did she already get it and I'm just misremembering? Or was it for a later date? At least she hasn't disappeared from Powerrr. Ruiz was impressive and showed signs of potential with her charismatic mannerisms, but this was all about giving Haley J a victory. The Slime Ballz def. The Fixers by DisqualificationI don't know what the babyface vs. heel dynamic was supposed to be as it feels like The Fixers have been floundering for a while now, but as a match, this was good stuff with the two teams having nice chemistry. It was going well up until the lame finish with Carson Bartholomew Drake making with physical contact with The Slime Ballz, resulting in The Fixers getting disqualified. Drake revealed he did that on purpose, so it looks like he'll be aligned with Slime Ballz going forward. That was random, but we'll see where it goes. Overall ShowWith the Samhain tapings over, Powerrr is clearly in a transitional period as this was another episode with several meaningless matches. The wrestling was serviceable, but more storylines are needed to make the show more worthwhile. The only true feud it feels like we have at the moment is Latimer vs. EC3 over the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship (which has been anything but interesting), but Jay vs. Negra could be something if they actually follow up on it.
