The Wrestling Machines def. The Holy Grail in a Crockett Cup Opening-Round MatchWith EC3 gone, Holy Grail now consists of Pretty Boy Smooth and Hayden Backlund. When the match got underway, the commentators were talking about how Backlund had to prove himself, and since he was the one who got pinned, he may not be long for the group after all. This was a well-worked opener, and with Wrestling Machines being more of a cohesive unit, it made more sense for them to advance. NWA World Women's Champion Natalia Markova def. Herra (Non-Title)Markova has been giving out title matches like candy lately, so I was surprised this was non-title, especially since Markova ended up winning, anyway. I haven't been overly impressed by Herra so far, but I thought this was perfectly passable. Later on in the show, Markova challenged Liviyah to a match next week because of Tiffany Nieves and her crew did to Liviyah a few weeks ago. The Southern Six (Kerry Morton and Alex Taylor) def. The Hardway in a Crockett Cup Opening-Round MatchWith Southern Six having won the Crockett Cup two years ago, it was safe to assume they would make it past the opening round. As for Hardway, they've received an ample amount of television time on Powerrr in the past few months, so there weren't just some random team that got beat. This was a solid match with Southern Six going over as expected. Eric Smalls def. Daisy KillI like the idea of Kill being down on his luck, but he's not exactly on a losing streak. He beat two opponents before losing to Smalls a week or two ago, and he also eliminated everyone in that four-way match recently. The storyline's been inconsistent, but to his credit, he's playing his role well. This was more comic relief with Smalls getting the better of him, but it was relatively quick and painless. Kenzie Paige def. Sirena Veil by DisqualificationPaige continuing to get the main event spotlight has been nice to see even though she no longer has the NWA World Women's Championship. It was a good spot for a fresh face like Veil to be in as well. These two had a quality contest prior to the disqualification finish. Haley J came out afterward and nearly hit Paige with her signature "power slap." Yes, they're playing off her appearance on that stupid show. At least their feud was furthered. Overall ShowIt was announced that Silas Mason and Bryan Idol will have their No Disqualification match for the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship next week. As for this episode, it was adequate. We got more Crockett Cup opening-round matches, the women got some shine and Kill was embarrassed again. There wasn't anything super significant, but it was a serviceable show on the whole.
