NWA World Women's Champion and NWA World Women's Tag Team Champion Kenzie Paige def. Amber Nova and Carolina Cruz in a Three-Way MatchThis was really random considering the NWA World Women's Championship was on the line and I couldn't tell you the last time either Nova or Cruz were on Powerrr (if ever). Not only that, but the match was barely two or three minutes long, so what was the point? This was way too short to be anything more than what it was and I'm not sure what purpose it was supposed to serve. NWA World Tag Team Champions Knox and Murdoch def. The Slime Ballz; Slime Ballz def. Knox and Murdoch by DisqualificationSlime Ballz earned these opportunities by beating Mike Knox in a two-on-one Handicap match last month. The first match was decent, but despite Slime Ballz losing decisively, they decided to cash in on their second guaranteed championship shot immediately, hence the impromptu rematch. The second matchup was pretty much the same thing, though the disqualification finish was lame. Slime Ballz would've looked like total losers had they lost again, so although I understand this sets up another rematch, they went about this in a weird way. Boz def. Nic SwiftSimilar to the opener, this was another match I wish got a bit more background. Boz has competed on Powerrr before, but this was Swift's debut. This was essentially an extended squash for Boz, who looked impressive. Hopefully we see Boz reappear soon because it'd be a shame for any momentum he has coming off of this to go to waste if we don't seen him again. Tiffany Nieves def. Big Mama to Win the NWA Women's Television ChampionshipThis was Mama's first defense of the Women's TV title. As a reminder, she's been champion for quite a while, not to mention I don't believe her title win ever actually aired on Powerrr. In other words, her reign has been one of the worst in recent NWA history and I'm glad she lost it here. They told a solid story with Nieves having to fight from underneath throughout and Nieves tapping her out was a nice touch. Overall ShowThis was a below-average show by recent Powerrr standards, largely in terms of how nothing had any build beyond the tag title match. The three-way to start the show was completely inconsequential, Boz vs. Swift existed and the main event came out of nowhere. At least the Women's TV title changed hands as that was overdue. Three titles being on the line made this show somewhat significant, but the booking on the whole was questionable.
