La Rosa Negra def. Kelsey Heather and Valentina Rossi in a Three-Way MatchThis would have benefited from having something at stake (specifically a shot at the NWA World Women's Championship or even the NWA Women's Television Championship), but at least this three-way served as a showcase for the women involved. Negra is obviously an NWA regular and her winning was the right call coming off her Empty Arena loss to Ruthie Jay last month, but it was cool to see Rossi in there, who I remember from the many matches she had on AEW's Dark programs. The Immortals def. The ColonsThe Colons are having a bit of a resurgence as of late between their appearances in the NWA and TNA. They haven't been very successful, mind you, but I don't really see the point in pushing them in 2025, anyway. This was a good match with The Immortals thwarting The Colons' attempt to cheat toward the end and picking up the victory. This was another match that would've benefited from a clear direction. In other words, it'd be nice to know what these teams are gunning for at the moment. The Lost def. NWA Mid-America Champion Jeremiah Plunkett and Joe Ocasio by DisqualificationThe Lost are the new team of Gaagz the Gymp and Alex Misery. Plunkett and Ocasio are more of a makeshift team if I'm not mistaken, but I assume we're going to see more of that with the Crockett Cup coming up. Although I couldn't care less about Gaagz, this was actually a really nice match and I thought Ocasio in particular stood out with the showing he had. It looks like The Lost and Lev will be a faction managed by James Mitchell going forward in what's basically a better version of The Miserably Faithful. Bryan Idol def. Hunter DrakeThis stemmed from Drake recently fighting Idol's tag team partner Natalia Markova, and I appreciated that they set it up with last week's vignette/pre-taped segment. This wasn't much of a main event from an in-ring standpoint, but it was the most storyline significant. I'm just not sure where we go from here with these guys, though I assume the focus will go back to being on Markova chasing Kenzie Paige. Overall ShowI thought we would get more stuff related to the Crockett Cup ahead of the event next weekend, but apparently they're doing the entire tag team tournament there. The two tag matches on this show seemed to serve as a preview of the tourney, so those weren't completely inconsequential. The main event was perfectly fine and had a reason for why it existed. Thom Latimer vs. Aron Stevens for the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship was also announced for a later date, so I'd say it was a solid show on the whole.
