Aron Stevens and Blunt Force Trauma Attacked Eric SmallsI'm now realizing that the winner of the Family Jewels Ladder match a few weeks ago would earn the opportunity to punch the loser in their "family jewels." First of all, that's a stupid stipulation. Secondly, didn't that match have a non-finish? Regardless, Rolando Freeman punched Smalls in the nuts, but it backfired because Smalls was wearing a cup. Stevens and Blunt Force Trauma then attacked Smalls by, you guessed it, hitting him in the nuts. This whole segment was a waste of time. NWA World Women's Tag Team Champions The It Girls vs. Caribbean Flow Ended in a Tine-Limit DrawCaribbean Flow is the new team name for Ruthie Jay and La Rosa Negra, which I forgot to mention when they were last in action together two months ago on Powerrr. They've obviously been teaming for a lot longer than that. This was a decent match, but the time-limit draw finish was lame, primarily because the NWA does so many of them. If nothing else, I suppose it created the need for a rematch. EC3 def. Nick GeneEC3 established on a previous episode that he does have his sights set on regaining the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship, so it's logical to build him back up in the meantime. Unfortunately, this enhancement match for him wasn't very interesting. He was on offense for a majority of it, but he took his time with Gene by leaving him on the outside more than once. This would've benefited from being slightly shorter. The Colons def. Rewind SocietyI completely forgot about The Colons after they were released from WWE in late 2019. Hell, I forgot about them long before then, too. In all seriousness, they've always been a quality team. They were just hurt by all the gimmicks they were saddled with for almost a decade. They're a welcome addition to the NWA's tag team division and this was a good debut for them. NWA World Women's Champion Kenzie Paige def. Natalia Markova by DisqualificationThis was the title shot Markova earned by winning the Burke Invitational at the NWA 76 tapings. She's lost so many title shots in the past that it was already difficult to take her seriously as a championship challenger, and then the match was thrown out within minutes because Tiffany Nieves interfered and attacked Paige. I assume that was an inside job since Paige complained about being injured coming into this contest. At least this didn't last longer than it needed to if that was going to be the finish. NWA Junior Heavyweight Champion Alex Taylor def. Christian Anderson (Non-Title)Am I missing something? I don't remember Taylor beating Joe Alonzo for the NWA Junior Heavyweight Championship ever airing on an NWA program. Apparently it happened back in June on an event promoted as NWA: Chicago. I can't recall the title change even being acknowledged on Powerrr, probably because Alonzo left the company. I don't see the problem in airing the footage, though. My point is, Taylor was shown with the title out of nowhere, so this was random. It also didn't make sense for this to close the show since it was essentially a squash. Overall ShowThis was one of the weaker editions of Powerrr we've gotten in recent weeks. It felt like the leftovers from the taping with a bunch of random matches and there not being a real flow. The opening segment sucked, getting not one but two non-finishes was disappointing, EC3's squash was boring, and the "main event" was anything but. Somehow, The Colons' debut was the highlight of the episode.
