Kylie Paige def. Gabby ForzaForza was wearing a birthday hat to start the match. I assume it was her birthday, but maybe that's just her gimmick. Either way, it looked stupid. This felt like an extended squash for Paige, even though Forza scored a fair amount of offense. Although this was random, I assume it only existed to give Paige a rare win on her own. Time will tell if this actually amounts to something. Carson Bartholomew Drake def. Midas BlackI'm familiar with Black as being one-half of the Mane Event tag team. At any rate, this marked Drake's first match since unsuccessfully challenging for the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship. He has since said he wants his NWA Television Championship back because he was never actually beaten for it (per the Lucky 7 Rule), so we'll see what's in store for him. Regardless, this was a logical way to get him back on track. NWA World Women's Tag Team Champions TVMA def. Clara Carter and Sirena VeilTVMA haven't been around for very long but already feel like legitimate, defending NWA World Women's Tag Team Champions. I know nothing about Carter and Veil and I get the sense this was a one-off appearance for them in the NWA, but they held their own in what was a perfectly passable match. I just wish a reason was given as to why they challenged for the tag titles out of nowhere, or at least been able to introduce themselves. "Thrillbilly" Silas Mason def. Cristiano ArgentoArgento came off well during his entrance, but similar to the other matches on this show, this was all about Mason, who spent a majority of it in control. Needless to say, the outcome was never in doubt. In his post-match promo, Mason called out Thom Latimer for another opportunity at the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship. I'd love for him to be the one to ultimately dethrone him, but we shall see. NWA National Champion Mims Confronted Da PopePope returning was a pleasant surprise. He's been away from the NWA for a while and has history with the NWA Television Championship, so I'm all for him going after NWA National Championship now that he's back, not to mention he's a very talented talker and is super charismatic. This was a simple segment to set up something between them for later on without giving too much away. Overall ShowThere was a lot more in-ring stuff to this show than your usual edition of Powerrr, three of them being enhancement matches and one title match. None of them were worth seeking out, but Pope's return at the end was notable and I hope he's sticking around. Next week's show will feature two title matches with Bryan Idol defending the NWA Television Championship against Daisy Kill and Luke Kurtis challenging Alex Taylor for the NWA Junior Heavyweight Championship.
