NWA Exodus Pro Champion Pretty Boy Smooth def. Mims by Count-OutConsidering Smooth was the defending champion, it would've been nice if his entrance aired to at least attempt to indicate he's something of a big deal to NWA viewers. The match was just getting going before the lame count-out finish. I assume they did that to protect Mims (an NWA regular), but then it begs the question of why bother booking the bout in the first place. I couldn't get a grasp of what Smooth can do because this didn't last long enough. NWA World Women's Tag Team Champions The King Bees def. Caribbean FlowKing Bees have excelled as the tag team champs and I'm always down for them taking on new challengers. Granted, I know nothing about Caribbean Flow beyond what we saw from them here, but to their credit, I thought they had a solid showing and that this was a nice match. King Bees have been among the bright spots of the NWA product for the last little while with consistent title defenses. NWA Kross Fire Champion Juventud Guerrera vs. Zyon Ended in a No ContestI had no idea Guerrera was a champion in 2024. He's going to be 50-years-old in a few months, but it was clear from watching him here that he can still hold his own. He actually gave Zyon one of the more interesting matches I've ever seen him have. They were having a decent match up until the bizarre ending. Zyon was clearly disqualified for not breaking the five count while applying a submission hold, but the ring announcer declared it a no contest. Why? NWA JCP Tag Team Champions The Stew Crew def. The FixersThe two teams brawled on the outside before the bell could even ring, so it was logical that they'd go on to have a hoss fight. Some parts were plodding, but on the whole, it was perfectly passable. After two non-finishes on this show, I'm glad Stew Crew actually won by pinfall. Then again, The Fixers laid them out afterward, so I don't know how much Stew Crew actually benefited from this victory. Overall ShowThis was another Back to the Territories edition of Powerrr. I don't know how many they have left in the can, but I assume next week's will be something similar. The change of scenery with these shows has been refreshing, but I'm just ready for them to start airing the matches from NWA 76 because most of these matches have been inconsequential and forgettable, especially this week. They showed the territories NWA is working with some love, but because they wanted to protect their own talent and went with a lot of fluky finishes (except for in the women's tag team match), it didn't make for the strongest episode.
