Top Flight def. Rocky Romero and Tomohiro IshiiI believe Romero and Ishii were members of The Conglomeration at one point, but I won't refer to them as such because that group hasn't been represented in a while (hey, I'm not complaining). Top Flight are an actual team, so it was more important for them to go over. This was a nice match while it lasted. It's wild to think Top Flight haven't held the ROH World Tag Team Championship by now, so hopefully that happens before long. Shane Taylor def. K.M.I'm all for building up Taylor as a dominant force on his own. He's basically been a background player in his own faction for months now, so this helped him establish some credibility as a singles star. As for K.M., I'm pretty sure he works backstage for AEW and has been utilized as an enhancement talent on countless occasions. This was brief and exactly what it needed to be. La Catalina def. Taya Valkyrie in an ROH Women's World Television Championship No. 1 Contender's MatchCatalina previously unsuccessfully challenged Athena for the ROH Women's World Championship, but I like that she's sticking around to set her sights on the Women's World Television title. Although she never wins when it matters most these days, Valkyria has been around long enough that it meant something for Catalina to beat her. This was a quality contest and I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of match Catalina can have with Red Velvet. Nick Wayne def. Michael OkuWayne will be challenging for the ROH World Television Championship on the Spring BreakThru episode of Collision later tonight, so it was logical to put him in the main event of this show. I've heard a lot about Oku and he's certainly an impressive talent, so I wouldn't mind seeing him end up on a bigger stage full-time eventually. I don't know that Wayne needed an assist from Kip Sabian to beat him, but the commentators acknowledged that Oku and Sabian have history from the United Kingdom independent scene, so at least that made sense. Overall ShowThis aired earlier in the day due to Collision being on Thursday night this week, though there wouldn't have been a conflict if this aired in its original time slot of 7 p.m. ET. Nonetheless, this was a perfectly serviceable episode, especially at only 37 minutes long. Even with four matches, the action was enjoyable and I appreciated that one of them had stakes. This blew by, so I have no complaints.
