The Righteous and Premier Athletes (Tony Nese and Ariya Daivari) def. Spanish Announce Project and The KingdomThis marked the returns of The Righteous and The Kingdom to ROH TV. The Righteous are the exact same as they were previously, but it's worth noting that Matt Taven and Mike Bennett are back to being just The Kingdom now that The Undisputed Kingdom are no more. Maria Kanellis-Bennett's contract wasn't renewed a few months ago, so Taven and Bennett are on their own as babyfaces. This was a solid showcase of these four teams, though the crowd was quiet throughout. Lance Archer def. CrowbarCrowbar has been around forever yet has made at least one or two appearances for AEW and/or Ring of Honor over the years. Props to him, especially since he had the crowd completely behind him here despite having zero chance of winning. Not saying Crowbar needs a full-time contract with the company, but he did play his role really well here in what was a glorified squash. Archer might be a member of The Don Callis Family, but it's been virtually impossible to care about the dude for years now because of how often he loses when it matters most. ROH Women's World Television Championship Red Velvet def. Ashley Vox in an ROH Women's World Television Championship Proving Ground MatchIt was already established last week that La Catalina is next in line for a shot at the ROH Women's World Television Championship, so there was no way Vox was winning here (not to mention Vox isn't signed to the roster and enhancement talent never win Proving Ground matches to my knowledge). Vox scored more offense than I thought, but Velvet went over decisively as she should have before facing off with Catalina afterward. Mark Briscoe, AR Fox and Top Flight def. Shane Taylor Promotions (The Infantry, Shane Taylor and ROH Pure Champion Lee Moriarty)Briscoe just beat Ricochet on Dynamite and Top Flight are set to take on CRU on Saturday's Collision, so as much as I like Shane Taylor Promotions, it would've been silly for the babyface squad to lose here. This wasn't a pointless CMLL main event, so for that reason alone, this gets a thumbs-up from me. In all seriousness, it was enjoyable while it lasted with all eight guys working well together. Overall ShowIn addition to the above matches, we found out that Bandido will defend the ROH World Championship against Dralistico on Collision and Leila Grey, Deonna Purrazzo and Taya Valkyrie will be a part of the upcoming ROH Women's Pure Championship Tournament (which feels extremely unnecessary). For a 45-minute episode, this was an easy watch and a step above from your usual offering from ROH TV.
