ROH World Tag Team Champions The Sons of Texas def. The Frat House (Griff Garrison and Cole Karter) (Non-Title)

As for as little as I care about Frat House, they were a fine team for Sons of Texas to face and beat in a non-title match. This was perfectly fine and gave Sons of Texas an easy win. The Dark Order coming out to distract Frat House and cost them the victory furthered that feud as well (for anyone who gives a shit). I'm ready for Sons of Texas to start facing actual competition again, though.

The Gates of Agony def. Deonn Rusman and Cal Bloom

No, your eyes weren't deceiving you: That was indeed former WWE NXT Superstar Von Wagner, going by his real name Cal Bloom. He actually portrayed a security guard on Dynamite a week or two ago, the same night this was filmed. His notable past didn't do him any favors here as he was positioned as just another dude, but this did serve as a fairly standard squash for Gates of Agony.

The Outrunners def. Premier Athletes (Ariya Daivari and Tony Nese)

This may have been a first-time-ever encounter for all I know, but I also feel like I've seen this match several times already. Premier Athletes will forever be the ultimate enhancement team in Ring of Honor and AEW, while The Outrunners have clearly proven they're at a much higher level at this point. There was nothing technically wrong with this match, but it was whatever. As I've said before, I'd like to see The Outrunners build real momentum in ROH so they can eventually challenge for the ROH World Tag Team Championship because they're treading water otherwise.

The Infantry def. The Dark Order (Evil Uno and Alex Reynolds)

As soon as I saw that Dark Order were in action, I immediately assumed Frat House would show up to return the favor from earlier (it would've been ridiculous for them not to). Sure enough, that's exactly what happened. I can't say this match did much for me, largely because Dark Order are a tired act, but it was an average outing and I'm glad The Infantry won for a change.

ROH Pure Champion Lee Moriarty def. AR Fox

It was stupid to say that this had a 60-minute time limit if it went less than nine. Don't get me wrong, they maximized their minutes and had a very fun sprint, but this easily could've gone longer given the talented involved. On the bright side, this was far and away the best and most important thing on the entire episode, so this was the correct choice to close it out.

Overall Show

The biggest feud on ROH TV right now is... Dark Order vs. Frat House. You can't make this up. Yes, I realize Bandido and Chris Jericho are still feuding over the ROH World Championship, but that's playing out exclusively on AEW TV at this point and will culminate at Dynasty this Sunday. More storyline progression (and storylines that are interesting, mind you) would go a long way in making ROH TV more meaningful. The main event of this episode was the sole highlight and the only thing worth checking out, though I appreciate the show was under an hour this week.
