The Death Riders (Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia) def. Alec Price and Jordan OliverI've complained quite a bit about Yuta and Garcia making regular appearances on ROH TV when we already get enough of The Death Riders on AEW TV, but as I've said before, they can make these matches worthwhile if they actually amount to something eventually. Nonetheless, this was a solid showcase for them, and I was happy to see Price and Oliver be used again after appearing on last week's ROH TV in the Hammerstein Ballroom as well. Mark Davis def. Matt MakoDavis picked up a rare singles win on the recent Global Wars: United Kingdom edition of ROH TV, which made sense because he's an international talent and Tony Khan probably just wanted to get him in front of that crowd in England. This match made a little less sense unless, like I said about the opener, it's leading to something for Davis. From an in-ring standpoint, this was serviceable but felt pointless. Bryan Keith and Big Bill def. The Dark Order (John Silver and Alex Reynolds)The reports of Chris Jericho potentially being WWE bound as soon as next week reminded me that he gave Bill and Keith a dressing-down in his last AEW appearance back in April and never returned to put either of them over. What a colossal waste of time. I'm not even sure why they're still a team at this point. Perhaps they'll go after the ROH World Tag Team Championship soon. This was another average yet fairly forgettable outing. Satnam Singh def. Charles MasonSingh enters, squashes a dude, and leaves. That's the formula every match he has follows. The only thing different about this one is that he was a heel here. I could have sworn he was more of a babyface in his other matches, but now he's apparently a heel again. It doesn't make much of a difference either way, but I thought it was worth noting. The best thing I can say about this is that it didn't last longer than it needed to. Ace Austin def. Rocky RomeroAustin challenged Ricochet for the AEW National Championship earlier in the month, but he hasn't had a ton of exposure on AEW TV otherwise. That said, I'm fine with him getting something going in Ring of Honor in the meantime, if only to keep him busy. This was the quality contest you'd expect from these two, even if a win over Romero doesn't carry much weight these days. ROH Women's World Television Champion Red Velvet def. Janai Kai in an ROH Women's World Television Championship Proving Ground MatchI have no idea why this was positioned as the main event when there was absolutely nothing of note about it, but at the very least, it was cool to see Kai spotlighted on ROH TV. She had an impressive run in MLW and would be a welcome addition to ROH's women's division. Velvet winning was never in doubt, but I'm glad Kai scored an ample amount of offense before eating defeat. Overall ShowThere was a special Tuesday edition of ROH TV a few weeks ago as well, so an excessive amount of content must have been taped lately that they're just trying to burn through. ROH TV on Thursdays is more than enough, but if they're going to do occasional extra episodes on Tuesdays, I appreciate that they're not overly lengthy. This was an insignificant episode from a storyline standpoint, but the six matches thankfully breezed by.
