Ring of Honor Review - February 12, 2026

ROH World Tag Team Champions La Faccion Ingobernable (The Beast Mortos and Sammy Guevara) def. Top Flight

When were Top Flight named the number one contenders to the ROH World Tag Team Championship? I'm sure they picked up a win or two to justify them getting this shot, but so many matches on ROH TV blend together that it's hard to remember. Regardless, this was a good match between two talented teams. It would've been nice if this had more of a story behind it, but at least the tag titles were defended for a change.

Michael Oku and The Von Erichs def. The OXP, Oday and Timur the Great

Oku isn't under an AEW or Ring of Honor deal, but he does make occasional appearances on ROH TV and stands out whenever he's around. I have no idea why he teamed with The Von Erichs, but I can't complain about the match was short and sweet. We'll see if they eventually challenge for the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship or if it was just a one-off (as I assume it was).

Persephone def. Julissa Mexa

Persephone comes across as such as a star during her entrance alone and she backs that up when the bell rings. This served as a solid showcase for her, though it probably didn't need to last as long as it did. My only issue with her being in ROH now is that she already unsuccessfully challenged Athena for the ROH Women's World Championship at Final Battle and feels bigger than the ROH Women's World Television Championship and the ROH Women's Pure Championship.

Dalton Castle and The Outrunners def. Rosario Grillo, KM and Nathan Cruz

This was almost the exact same thing as the six-man tag team match earlier, except we've seen Castle and The Outrunners have matches like this for months without amounting to anything. Needless to say, the formula has gotten rather old and I couldn't care less, even though Castle and The Outrunners continue to work well together. Have them fight for the six-man tag titles already and get it over with.

Lance Archer def. Will Allday

What I said about Castle and The Outrunners' match can be applied to this match, too. The only difference is that Archer has been doing these matches for almost six years and there's no reason to believe he's being built up for anything of note. Sure, he's a member of The Don Callis, but what does that even mean these days? The answer is nothing, and thus these matches are a waste of time.

ROH World Champion Bandido, Komander, Mascara Dorada and Xelhua def. Premier Athletes (Ariya Daivari and Tony Nese) and The Swirl

This was lucha action at its best with the babyfaces shining while on offense and the heels playing their roles well. They received plenty of time and made the most of it. It wasn't completely pointless, either, as we're clearly headed for Bandido defending the ROH World Championship against Blake Christian. It's taking forever to get there, so hopefully it happens soon.

Overall Show

This was the definition of a one-match show. The main event was above-average by ROH TV standards and was enjoyable, but even with an ROH World Tag Team Championship clash kicking off the episode, everything else was inconsequential or more of the same. I'm glad these editions of ROH TV aren't overly lengthy, but it's not like they're offering much of value that's worth seeking out.
