Zayda Steel def. Johnnie RobbieI maintain that Steel is much better in the heel role than she is as a babyface, but I'm glad she's being given a chance to showcase her skills at all. She didn't get off to the strongest start in AEW and in Ring of Honor by losing a handful of matches, but at least this means she's going to start racking up some victories. This was a fairly standard squash match that didn't overstay its welcome. SkyFlight (Scorpio Sky and Top Flight) def. TMDK (Che Cabrera, Bad Dude Tito and Shane Haste)It's become apparent that SkyFlight's ceiling is being utilized as a stepping stone stable, but TMDK is a notable group from New Japan Pro-Wrestling, so this was a win for them that actually meant something. It was an average outing, but it got TDMK on the card in Australia, even though they didn't go over (and I'm not saying they should have). SkyFlight have to be ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champions eventually, right? Mark Davis def. The TuckmanI was shocked they didn't shoehorn Davis onto Grand Slam: Australia considering how much he's been featured on AEW TV as of late, but relegating him to the ROH TV taping in Australia instead was the correct call. Tuckman scored way more offense than I expected him to and I'm not really sure why. Davis puts forth a commendable effort every time he's out there, but on his own, I just don't find him all that interesting. Sisters of Sin def. Aysha and Frankie BSisters of Sin fell short of winning the AEW Women's World Tag Team Championship from The Babes of Wrath a few weeks ago, so I'm curious what they'll do next. Hopefully it's not pulling ROH duty for months on end. This seemed to only exist to give them a rebound win, but I don't know why it needed to last as long as it did since Aysha and Frankie B aren't contracted talent. Dalton Castle and The Outrunners def. Jack Osborne, Sam Osborne and Will KiedisUnsurprisingly, this was more of the same from Castle and The Outrunners. They do their schtick and go over quickly and decisively. It's a tired formula, and what's worse, they're on almost every edition of ROH TV, basically wasting time. If nothing else, the fans in attendance ate this up, so as bored as I am by these one-sided squashes they continue to have, the live crowds sure aren't. Mina Shirakawa def. Charli EvansIt's comical how Shirakawa, despite how popular she still is, can legitimately never win when it matters most. It's interesting that this came a day after she got pinned in that AEW TBS Championship four-way match on Dynamite. It's not like this win gives her any sort of credibility boost, but it was another decent bout on this show with an obvious outcome. IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion Robbie Eagles def. ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champion "Captain" Shawn DeanEagles is another Australia native, so it's cool that he not only made the show but was put in the main event. Granted, Dean was a rather random opponent for him, but they had a quality contest. It was weird for this to be shorter than some of the other matches on this show, but whatever. They made the most of the time they had and put together a fun little sprint. Overall ShowThis show was made better by it emanating from Australia as that meant the crowd was pretty much into everything. You'd think that would have made this a Global Wars edition of ROH TV, but maybe they didn't want to call it that so soon after doing a Global Wars episode earlier this month. Nonetheless, this was a serviceable show with some international flavor and the runtime was thankfully on par with what we've been getting as of late.
